I feel like I’ve seen them skate that cleaner but it was still beautiful nonetheless. I think I preferred K/C on the day. K/A seemed a bit tight today - nerves probably.

Wow!! Can’t believe how close that was. I actually think it was the fairer result. I wonder what the deduction was for?

Not a lot between them, K/C deserved winners, but so would have been K/A. Russian ice dance rules for a long time to come!

Poor K/A look so sad. I feel like they have so much pressure on them since they have so much promise. Such a shame for such wee babes. They have a bright future though. I’m happy for K/C - they were great today.

How the hell did the Russian ice skating Federation put this Moron (Dmitry NAUMKIN) as a technical Specialist really has no understanding of the rules, he has more understanding of the bottle and corruption than ice dancing rules, Shame on those you put him there.

Lol, commentary on K/C's tango. Grishin: "look at these costumes, perfect for tango, Irina has sparkles, Dario has red stripes...", Jon G. "ahem, and about their dance...".

Everything was top-notch as far as I was concerned. :points: it was truly one of the very few performances I would have expected from Russians skating at home.

Fans keep sending K/C or just Dario to Italy to get away from all the nepotism. Dario has an Italian passport so it should be easy, but I don't get the impression he particularly wants to at this stage.

As for K/A, they seem to be sore losers already at the age of 16/18. It never does any good when someone convinces skaters they are a pair of geniuses entitled to winning everything before they even turn senior. With I/K it let to an attitude that they are so talented hard work isn't necessary. I am hoping it doesn't go to K/A's heads the way it did to I/K's.
