So happy for Pikteev! He's been massively underscored during the GP season for me, so I'm happy for him :)
And, finally it is not a "whoever has less falls win" competition!

Your prediction is really accurate.
#1 ranked senior:
2015 Kovtun (98.14)
2014 Plushenko (98.41)

#2 ranked senior:
2015 Menshov (92.37. Rus Fed doesn't care whether it's Menshov or Voronov)
2014 Kovtun (93.08)

#1 ranked junior:
2015 Petrov (76.87)
2014 Pitkeev (76.75)

#2 ranked junior:
2015 Samarin (72.05)
2014 Petrov (71.79)

Could all be a coincidence of course. But that is how I arrived at 98 before Kovtun skated.

 wow that is some coincidence there

and brb dying of laughter at Kovtun's PCS. Does this mean he'll never hit high 90s even after landing 2 quads? Because his PCS here is a joke  And congrats to Adian :cheer:

Your conclusion is quite logical. I mean it, you know. I just cannot stop laughing...

Yeah I know right, the judges are so predictable. Once I saw Sasha's score, I had a hunch it wld be this way. Because if they gave Kovtun a 3 digit score, there wld be a minor uproar, so they held back a little. LOL

Ouch @ Dmitriev's score. Not that I thought he would be near the top, but 60.82 is just sad. I feel sorry for him.

So happy for Pikteev! He's been massively underscored during the GP season for me, so I'm happy for him :)
And, finally it is not a "whoever has less falls win" competition!

I agree that he was very underscored this season, but he didn't really help himself either. Last season he was very consistent and this season not as much. If someone is consistent, the judges will start giving him/her the marks. Let's hope he will have better next season. I wonder if he could (and would want to) be sent again to junior worlds. To get at least some points to his name.

To be honest, the Silver Foxes PCS is generous, too. No complaints here, I'm rooting for them. :cheer:

I think they changed the rules so that if a skater skates on the senior GP they can not attend JWC anymore.

I love Adian and am so happy that he is competitive. Hopefully video appears.

Isn't loop combo is bad for your hip? I wonder is loop jump that bad for your body.
Anyways I wonder why Nationals have more clean skate than international competitions.
Look at Kovtun for example! less pressure?
How can a person feel pressure when he knows that he has a 1 fall advantage in the SP and a 2 fall advantage in the LP.

Well, most of the top Russian men have some of the most solid jump technique and rarely fall. Except for Kovtun, funnily enough. Can he pull off another clean skate tomorrow though, or will he melt down?

I think you are wrong. They can't do junior and senior GP events within one season, but those who did senior GP events can do Europeans and junior and senior worlds within one season.

Well I'm quite confident Eteri will know for certain and will make the correct decision for Adian :)

I' happy for Pikteev, but Gachinsky and him has the same PCS? I think that's harsh on Artur.
