Is there a reason Nugumanova isn't in it?

Most probably she is planned for other Events.
She is not age eligible for JGP.
Others, who are eligible, have a chance (little chance) that if they skate very good, they may have JGP Events. So they need this early Event more.

Anastasia Gubanova - well-known very talented girl.

All others - not so high level.
The only age eligible for JGP of Top6 - Natalia Ogoreltseva, but with so low results she will not have JGP Event.

http://fsevents.narod.ru/event/s1415/cup1spb/SEG005.HTM - Senior Ladies SP, only four and level much lower than Junior Ladies.

Other than the obvious I also liked Fedichkina and Lozko. Pavlova not quite as much. Sophia reminds me of a less talented Proklova that could improve in the next couple years.

The pairs skater Milena has a really good look but shes a bad jumper.

AlexRus, do you know what is going on with Kolomiets? We were noticing she is entered in any JGP events currently.

What about Sakhanovich's original spot at JGP Tallinn then? Looks like she still has it, but I'm sure it's impossible to compete at three JGP events.

The same situation (three Main entries for skater/couple) was past seasons sometimes.
It makes no problem - when skater had two Events, he/she can not have more.

In fact, there is no difference between state of Main and Substitute entry. At any moment (including Team Leaders Meeting) Substitute may become Main.
Main means preferred by Federation entry, and nothing more.
