I know that the Grand Prix Series kicks off in two months from now. And that we pretty much know who's competing in which event. So I think maybe let's try to put our own predictions here on the placings for each discipline for each event here and compare at the end of the NHK Trophy (The last event before the Grand Prix Final) and see how we do.

For people who don't know (Cause I'm sure there are some people out there who don't know), the lists of the competitors for each discipline for each event is posted on the ISU website so take a look and let's see what you come up with.

And I'm not just talking about the top 3. I'm mean everyone. Well you can do a top 3 if you want.

I'm curious to see what everyone comes up with.

Ok, I'll play...but I'll stick to the men as I'm less knowledgable about the other disciplines. Not trying to guess individual placements, just the podium.

Skate America: Ten, Machida, Brown
Skate Canada: Fernandez, Reynolds, Aaron
Cup of China: Hanyu, Kovtun, Han Yan
Cup of Russia: Fernandez, Gachinski, Voronov (wishful thinking maybe)
Trophee Bompard: Machida, Ten, Kovtun (although I hope I'm wrong & Amodio will beat one of them)
NHK Trophy: Hanyu, Farris, Reynolds ?? (this one is tough to predict, apart from Golden Boy)

I'm kinda surprised of the predictions you two put for Skate Canada and NHK. Cause I kinda did a bit of a "bracket" on who will medal in both of them. I too placed Reynolds for Skate Canada no higher than 2nd because of Fernandez. I was iffy on some of the placing when I did a little "bracket" for NHK. When I looked around and saw the other skaters, it made me very worried. Okay, maybe too much. Yeah, Hanyu is going to shine even more this GP series with Chan not competing this half of the season.

This whole season is going to be very interesting.

I'll try for ladies! Could not find a list of entries for Rostelecom, so I'll skip that.
Skate America- Gold, Park, Nagasu
Skate Canada- Pogorilaya, Wagner, Osmond
Cup of China- Lipnitskaya, Edmunds, Murakami
TEB- Lipnitskaya, Wagner, Radianova
NHK- (I predict some oddball surprises here) Edmunds, Sotnikova, Gold

No Japanese ladies on NHK podium would be the biggest surprise.
I predict Miyahara's win. Not a real surprise though.

I mostly agree with desertskates, except for:
TEB-Lipnitskaya, Radionova, Wagner (I think Elena's components will rise, and technically she's superior to Wagner)
NHK- Sotnikova or Gold first, Polina 2. at best IF the other two go clean, and they're not known for that so... an interesting event!

And Rostelecom-Sotnikova, Pogorilaya, Park

The Wagner/Radionova placement at TEB was one I really had to think about. And I almost had Radionova in second in my head. NHK could be the most interesting event of them all!

My personal favorite event will be TEB. As a huge Lipnitskaya fan Radionova is the only one who scares me and I have it in my head they will be rivals. At NHK I hope little Polina lays the smack down on both Sot and Gold

I think the GPF will have the same 4 Russians as last year (Julia, Adelina, Elena, Anna), Gracie and either Ashley or Polina in that final spot.
