Geez, that's a lot of skaters! Seeing as how I'd have to wake up at 5am to catch the whole competition, I think I'll just time it so I can watch the last 3 groups...

Same here. Anyone know about what time the last group will be starting? That's really all I want to see...

Kiira said she is not going to make triple-triple combination. She is not yet ready for that. She had hoped that but maybe in the worlds. She had some problems with her back after nationals. But now she is going to enjoy this competition.

All I want in the world is Pogorilaya to prove herself to the Russian Skating Delegation. *says while crying*

(hands out hankie) You know she can do it - just think of her Skate Canada skates and take solace and courage; or even better - rewatch them! And hope we'll see that Anna tomorrow.:)

ETA - Er... I mean today.:)

Urgh this event is going to be so predictable... otherwise known as Russian boosting time for WC or let's Eurotrash the Americans and the rest of the world... because WE CAN!!!

Russian 1, 2, 3? I'd say 88% chance.
Someone plz proof me wrong!!! Please no more ridiculous 3T3T hitting 70s+ in the short.

Come on Liza, even Ashely YES I CAN@T BELIEVE Grannie ASHLEY managed to pull out TWO miraculous geriatric 3lz3t!! That is a proper champion like attitude. It is time for you to upgrade, or get my hate! I love you darling, but you are making it very difficult for me to support you.

Things I really DISLIKE in this sport are:
Overmarking
Federation buffered PCS
Mediocrity done consistently and pretend it is anything other than mediocre.
Over hype
Skaters downgrade their programs (tech content / transition movements) to make it easier without affecting their PCS, relying on reputation from previous results that has nothing to do with what went on the ice ON THE DAY.
Over thinking on calculated risks.
Political motivated judging.

European Championships has traditionally had the worst over marking in history. I am kind of dreading it....

Although I am totally supporting Anna!!!!
