They were beaten at Russian Nationals, and so were not assigned the place at Jr. Worlds. In that sense, it is fair.

However, it does seem rather unfair since they were second at the JGPF and have never been to Junior Worlds before. However, they do have another year or two of junior eligibility, I think?

And this was Sofia EVDOKIMOVA & Egor BAZIN's last year, and they have never been, so in that sense, it is fair.

Sure, technically it WAS fair, I don't doubt. However, not only didn't Evdokimova/Bazin get onto the JGPF podium, they even weren't able to make any their JGP competition's podium. But still, good for them, because it's really their last year among juniors. They were really lucky at National's.

We have the same situation in the USA. The new team POGREBINSKY/BENOIT edged Moore/KLABER for the junior world berth so, despite having done nothing on the jgp, here they are

It was Moore/Klaber's last year of eligibility. Now they have split

Really? What a pity, they made the podium at JGP in Ljubljana, let alone they won the FD. And their PBs were pretty impressive. That's really unfair. :(

I really liked them, particularly their Addams Family FD. They finished fourth at US Nats in Juniors 3 years running. I am sure it was very debilitating for them.

I liked Moore and Klaber, but I found them old to be skating junior nationally still. I don't think were real contenders, unlike Lorraine and Quinn and the Parsons, for seniors

You have a bit of a bottleneck in U.S. Ice Dance. They could move up to the senior level, sure, but their opportunities and experience would be limited because you have several teams at the top who are nabbing all the GP and ISU Championship spots. And unlike other disciplines, i'ts not a great idea to do senior nationally and junior internationally cause you basically have to learn two different SDs to do so.

So I don't really hold it against them that they opted to stay at the junior level longer. You're seeing a similar situation in Russia, which has a similar bottleneck.

Anyone who has a bit of free time and wants to help?

Can we get a list of the best scores this season, the same way I prepared one for Ladies and Mrs P. for Men.

Thank you ChuckM!

This is the first time I realized Natalia KALISZEK / Maksim SPODIREV are going to Juniors, which I find strange to go to at this age (Maksim's age). Although I know everything is fine and according to rules.

Thank you Doris.

It will be much easier to follow that way, especially for people like me do not have that great of an idea who is stronger or weaker among the skaters.

It's best to remember that scores from the different event are NOT directly comparable.

JGP scores from one event to the other have different judging panels and different tech panels and scores can differ widely, even for the same couple.

Some "B" event scores (i.e., non-JGP scores) can sometimes be very inflated in comparison with JGP scores.

For example, for McNAMARA / CARPENTER and PARSONS / PARSONS, originally I did not list their highest scores, which were actually from the MENTOR NESTLE CUP, which would change their order in the list:

152.00 59.56 92.44 JGP EST 2014 YANOVSKAIA / MOZGOV RUS (1)

Does anyone know which results you need to get to have 2 or 3 slots in this comp ? If it helps, I'm looking for the results necessary for France to keep 2 slots next year (I think 3 slots are impossible but I'd still welcome the info). Thank you !
