i think you are correct from the little bit we "sort of" heard from training... there was chorus and operatic singing so I thought otherwise but with this accordion in foreground, it all makes sense

never heard of this composer/work before... good on you denis ;)

Denis Ten
SP, LP: Luis Bacalov music (Misa Tango?); choreo of course Lori Nichol
I think that it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IsPPBSnZCx0

Since everyone was talking about Boyang's (crazy O_O) FS, I want to point out, that Han yan's showing was no shame either. Saw his new FS just now and WOW, it's breathtaking and suits him so much better than the jazzy style! Can't wait to see his PCS on this  Jumps looking fantastic, too.

yesterday I finally managed to see Meagan/Eric programs from Quebec competition and I have to say I am positively shocked...Especially SP looks amazing - the level of musicality there is insane...Every note, highs and lows in Ewan's voice is pointed in choreography by them, it's really impressive. And the most important - there is no hesitation going into it.

Well Denis did you Misa Tango (Tangosain/Libertango/Adios) in 2011, so hopefully its different pieces from that CD, I would not have thought he would have returned to an old program?

I believe Misa Tango and Tangosain are two different pieces by Bacalov. And Adios Nonino & Libertango are two different ones by Piazolla. Perhaps all from the same album entitled Misa Tango? Music is not at all my forte. Though I think it may be Denis's.

i have no idea who bacalov is... not among the greats :) you are correct about piazzolla's libertango and adios nonino (i played those).... now if both these guys are on a compilation cds it explains the comment from previous poster... my comment was simply differentiating both composers and thus programs.... i dont think denis is recycling but he should buy other cds :)

I appreciated your comment because I remembered Denis's program as being Piazolla as well. I didn't remember the Tangosain section, though, so I looked it up online and found the album with all four pieces.

I checked wikipedia for Luis Bacalov. He composed a lot of soundtracks for western movies. Among his works: Django and Il Postino: The Postman.

LOVE it. That 3lo from nowhere into steps! And he looks so effortless here.

It's good but nowhere near Hanyu's 2012 program. I don't see him breaking out with this. Boyang's jump assault wins the matchup.
