Hi everyone, just wanted to ask about how much the tickets to individual competitions might be?
I'm interested in watching the senior singles' competitions, though at the moment might only be able to go to Barcelona on Friday evening.
So that would be the men's long, and ladies' short and long program competitions.
Do you think it would be cheaper to just buy individual tickets to these events, instead of buying the season ones?

Thanks!

We don't know the prices of the individual session tickets yet, but they will vary according to where they are in the arena.

The all-event tickets in the "regular" seats (not VIP box) range from 145 euros to 350 euros.

If you buy individual tickets for all sessions... in the same price seats every time...
...then they will normally cost more than an all-event ticket in the same seating area.

But they should be cheaper than all-event, if you don't buy tickets for all the sessions.

It all gets mixed up though, if you buy different-priced seats for each session...!

Thanks YesWay and solene1, I think I get it now.
I guess since the singles' events I want to watch are scheduled in different sessions, then I would actually be getting 3 separate session tickets for all of them.
And that could come out as more expensive than the all event pass.

I initially thought I could buy a ticket for just a single event, like for just the ladies' short program for example, and thought that might be cheaper.
But I would actually need to buy a ticket for the entire session where the event is included.

Great to learn these things :) I'm really not very experienced in attending competitions.

Yes, "Competition Season ticket" is for all competition events, and the exhibition (exhibition is listed in the "competition schedule" on the tickets).

Only the training (practice) sessions are not included. If you want to see all the practice sessions, you can buy the "training season Pass". And there should be tickets for individual training sessions available later (just like there will be individual competition session tickets).

Last year they went on sale October 15. Time to start keeping an eye open for announcements on the subject, I guess.

For all of you waiting for the individual tickets to be put on sale:
Hielo Español, a spanish media specialised in figure skating, reported yesterday that Proticketing (the platform selling GPF tickets) has announced they will start selling individual event tickets on October 15th, at 12:00 (spanish time).
Ready, set, go! And good luck with seats!
(I hope the caos won't come this time as it did with the all-event tickets).

Just bought my tickets :cheer: So this year I am going to TEB and GPF. May someone recommend a good (cheap) hotel near CCIB?

Okay, it appears that for the individual sessions we can by only tickets that were left after the seaon pass tickets were sold . No gold tickets at all. And who said that individual session tickets were reserved?

really? weird. I see at least a handful of golden tickets for most sessions. And those were definitely not available as season tickets a couple of days ago when I checked out of curiosity. So at least some had to be reserved, I guess :confused2: but maybe not as many as we had thought?

Yes, now it seems so, but no any gold tickets or even any good tickets for the Saturday session at all. And that was the one session that I intended to buy gold tickets for :disapp:.

Same here, and I looked for the Saturday tickets at 12:03 - and there were no gold tickets and no good places left either. It's really disappointing, because I didn't know until recently if I could go or not, so I hoped for good single session tickets, but alas... maybe it's a technical problem again and some good tickets will pop up later, but I'm rethinking going at all, 'cause it's not as if I had too much money anyway to spend it on bad seats

It's not so bad. Two gold tickets were opened in one of the side sections/boxes for the Saturday session, although they are not quite adjacent. Probably a few more will open - also the "ordinary" seats. I have to confirm, though - is the lower (soth side) the judges side?

There are no really good tickets for the Friday session except a few gold ones, though. I guess I'll wait a bit.

Edit: Now I waited for too long, and lost my two good gold tickets :rolleye:. There are other, not so good gold tickets, though.

well, if you decide to go, you should definitely keep checking the site. The seats in boca 5, F8 are now no longer shown as available, but now suddenly one seat popped up in F7 ;) you might still have a chance. Good luck everyone.
