Cool to see so many Russian jr ID teams, would be a good way to see where they place against each other. Also should be an easy win for Monko/Khaliavin.

My goodness - how many Junior Ladies does Belarus have?!

The battle to be top local skater is going to be fierce, what with 14 out of the 28 entries fighting for that honour!

Given that we have millions of local girls competing in the Junior competition, I'm really disappointed to see no locals competing in Senior Ladies. I take it that is an indication that none of the Juniors are actually old enough to be eligible for Seniors.

I read on VK that M/K received 69.29 for their SD. That's the only result I have seen.

Kim / Minov (Korea) SD result, 52.70 = 29.60 + 25.10, from their fan page.

They got 3rd. I wonder who got 2nd.

For men's competition, Jinseo Kim won.
SP: 65.26
FS: 73.64+71.66-1=144.30
Total: 209.56
His personal best, and he tried his 4T in FS. Good effort for him.

Are you sure? Because I when I was watching the Qualifying edition of "Ted's Notebook" on Sky Sports F1 yesterday, I could have sworn that I saw Ksenia walk past Ted Kravitz!

Nah, somehow I think she was more like to have been in Minsk rather than Sochi! With how competitive it is going to be at Russian Nationals, it is so important to get competitions under your belt so that you can fine-rune your routines to get the best out of them.

Don't worry! That was just my way of explaining that I saw somebody at the Formula 1 qualifying in Sochi that looked VERY like Ksenia Monko.

Congratulations to Ksenia and Kirill for the big lead!!! Would have liked for Kim / Minov to be closer to the couple in front of them, but I suppose it's not too far off their PB score for the SD.
