1. Polina Tsurskaya (consistent with strong tech content)
2. Yuna Shiraiwa (has sufficient tech to pull off a strong 180+ score & has been able to out-perform expectations every time, perhaps because she has less pressure due to above mentioned expectations being rather low)
3. Maria Sotskova (so far, consistent but SP best still below 65 and FS best below 125, so Polina is more likely to break the 190 mark)
4. Marin Honda (great presentation & seems to be growing into the season, though still susceptible to caving under pressure).
5. Alisa Fedichkina (SP will score high but LP is still uncertain)
6. Mai Mihara (the only one of these girls who has not yet broken 120 on LP, despite back-loading some jumps to the very end of the program. I think her scores are hitting a plateau at this point.)

I would say:

1. Tsurskaya
2. Sotskova
3. Shiraiwa
4. Fedichkina
5. Mihara
6. Honda

They're all fairly consistent, maybe Honda is a little bit behind -- but when she's on, she's on. Should be a good contest.

My favorite juniors are Tsurskaya, Honda. I hope Hondo gets on the podium by repeating her fabulous FS shown at the last JGP into the JGPF. When she with her sleek skating skills is on, her musicality and presentation are unbeatable, but she is so unpredictable given the past record. That's why I couldn't predict her in the top 3. Fedichkina has good skating skills as if she had trained in the North America, but her jumps are really tiny which diminishes her image not as much competitive as the other Russian skaters. Mihara is really bland to me.

These ladies are all so strong though that I could be completely wrong. I love Honda's skating and would love to see her medal, but her jumps are kind of scary to me, and she was kinda off at her first event but then amazing at her second. Hmm.
