That's really unfortunate for Amber. But maybe it's for the best. She hasn't had the best season, and maybe the time away will enable her to reboot and comeback stronger next season.

Indeed, and yet even in her absence midwestern juniors is quite a packed group! (Novice is no walk in the park either, there are a lot of really good girls coming up)

Gosh, 2 years in a row she has gotten injured just before Nationals. Last year she fell at Regionals and couldn't finish her program. This year breaking her ankle :eeking: just before Sectionals. I hope she can come back next season and get to Nationals without any more darn injuries.

The midwestern novice ladies division was very competitive. The Texas rinks seem to be producing some very good skaters.
