the quality of this show is incredible!!! Japanese fans are so fortunate! I am envious!! My personal favs are Stèphane and Johnny skating to the live piano performance <3 (I am still waiting a full duet number from these two!!!)

Thanks for sharing the info and video. I clicked and saw some of my favorite skaters' performances, and was glad they had a great time there during summer. Just to make the wonderful list perfect, would you kindly put the full names of the paired skaters in the list instead of the abbreviations? I assumed M/C are unfamiliar junior ice dancers from Japan, but they are in fact Meryl Davis and Charlie White, commonly referred to as D/W in forums. This information will be archived later, but still can be a good source in English for anyone to look for the participants of the show in the future.

Philippe Candeloro made a short speech before his performance about how he wanted to come to Nagano, where he won his second Olympic bronze medal. The interpreter was the one who called his name before his performance at Nagano Olympic, so she called his name like she did 18 years ago as requested by Philippe. In Japan there are many people who became his fan because of Nagano Olympic, so it was an emotional moment during the show.

After the Finale there was a Jump battle, and as you may know Javi nailed a Quad-loop on 25th. Stephane landed beautiful Quad-toes every day. Nobunari also tried a Quad-toe on 26th but fell, though the quality and difficulty of his jumps have almost recovered after the surgery he had last year. He and Johnny landed a 3A in their programs.

I love Satoko’s new exhibition program. In Nagano Stephane Lambiel who choreographed the program was co-starred at the beginning, so I hope it was filmed and will be aired.

The show will be broadcasted on July 9th by BS-Asahi.
