The official site is already working!
http://ostrava2017.eu/en/

The schedule and tickets prices information are already on site :)

From the site:
The first phase of the tickets sale will start at the turn of July and August. The first tickets to appear in the sales network Ticketportal will be the All-Event tickets.

And it was announced today that the all event tickets will be on sale starting on Wednesday July 27th at 1 pm: http://ostrava2017.eu/en/vstupenky/

Their price policy is quite wonderful - an all event ticket in prime category at 92 euros! :luv17:

The price is really, really inviting. I can only attend one event a season (a measure I set for myself) and I was thinking of going to one of the Challenger series in Europe, depending on who is going where (which means I must wait until at least another month to decide), but at this price the Euro is also becoming a big possibility!! But Ostrava seems like in the middle of nowhere, how am I supposed to get there? The flight directly into Ostrava doesn't seem economical, so the next option is flying into either Krakow or Prague then a travel on the train. What route would be the most convenient? I would like any suggestion from anyone who are familiar with the area and the train sevice in the zone a little more!

I know only what on site is: http://ostrava2017.eu/en/doprava/ Plus, I think there is more transport by bus than train from Poland. And Katowice are a little closer than Krakow. Hope someone will help you more :)

Thanks Cathlen :luv17: I am travelling from Rome and there is a direct flight into Krakow, and of course to Prague too (and no direct flight to Katowice!) but it seems that the train passes directly by the airport of Krakow but from the airport in Prague you must travel to the main train station in the city centre, which takes about another hour (not counting the waiting and time for transfering). It looks like a route via Krakow is the best option, and perhaps spending a night in Krakow before going back, so I won't have a nervous breakdown over the possibility of missing the flight plus a chance to take a look at the centre of Krakow in the evening!

I have four instead of two all-event tickets because of the stupid selling strategy at the beginning. If anyone is interested in two all-event-tickets for section A4, feel free to contact me.

There are nice, fast trains from Prague to Ostrava. RegioJet is a good bet - it even serves decent sushi! https://www.regiojet.cz

Depending where you are, you might also look at flights to Brno and the train from there. Having lived in both Czech and Poland, I'd take the Czech trains over the Polish trains, unless you're squeezing in a trip to Krakow, which is lovely.

When you are at Ostrava Airport, how do you get in town? Is there a god buss and how much does it cost?

Can I buy one from you. I have already booked my trip and Hotel, now I'm without tickets. I didn't think they could be sold out

Hello

I have two (2) all event tickets for Euros in section C1, however we will be travelling home on the Sunday (29th), which means I will have two (2) exhibition tickets available if anyone would like to purchase them.

so on Tuesday taking off for Ostrava. wil be lfying from Holland to Katowice and then take bus to Ostrava. it was bitterly cold there last weeks but it looks to be the same weather upcoming week as we have now in Holland. sunny and around zero during daytime and in the night frost. venue is some km outside citycentre but can be perrfectly reached by tramnumber 2.

I'm going tommorow (Tuesday) morning so I want to watch practices when I arrive. I'm staying for the whole event (again I hope to see some morning practices before the start of the competition). I will try to write some reports here on the forum, but maybe it won't be immediately after the competition or practice. I have an experience from last year Europeans when I spent the whole day in the arena (with a little time to a walk in an Old Town in Bratislava) and I came back to hotel pretty exhausted. However I'll try to write something here anyway :)
