No detail schedule was released yet.
The above Faceache link currently only has basic event info.
But more details might appear on the HKSU Farcebook page
...eg. they posted a screenshot of the full schedule PDF today

I hope there will be live streaming...

I'm still surprised that USFS is sending skaters here

Me 3! :scratch2: I was thinking about the same thing when I saw team USA...

2 - 5 Aug 2017

I am so excited that the event will be held in Hong Kong. No detail schedule was released yet.
I plan to watch some events. :luv17:

Thank you for opening this thread.

Yes, I will definitely be there as well, can't wait to see some of the new programs for the new season. :hap57:
I am a bit greedy and wanted to watch S. man, S. Ladies and Jr. ladies, if I have to watch all of the practice + competition, I will need to spend so much time in the venue, better get my backpack ready with all the living supplies :coffee:

BTW, the event is free event, no ticket is required. :yes2:

Me too!
Maybe they have more money to spend because it's the Olympic season:confused2:

*puts on Conspiracy tinfoil hat*
ORRRR those skaters decided to go have a vacation in Hong Kong with their families and USFS magically thought that they should compete there too to save some money

I don't want to think of that but tbh sending upcoming skaters to an event in Asia is too much of an expense if we think about how USFS really uses their money :confused2:

I see Jun-hwan Cha is still listed... o_O

Me too, first thing I look at when I saw the release of entries today. But not sure if he would pull out eventually, let's keep finger cross :dance2:

HKSU announced that the Asian Open Trophy Senior Man and Senior Ladies event (free program) on 5th Aug will broadcast live in YouTube:

Good news from skating fans who can't come this time :yahoo:

EDIT: I read the post again, HKSU say they will broadcast the whole day events, the time for Senior Man and Senior Ladies event in the FB post are just for reference, it doesn't mean that they will only broadcast Sr Man and Sr Ladies event, they should be also broadcasting Jr ladies (free program) events on the same day. (I hope I interpreted their meaning correctly)

I will be there everyday and take videos. Any requests?

Good on you!
Thank you so much for offering :agree:
Unfortunately, due to work commitment, I don't think I could make it to 4th Aug's event, so Senior man, senior ladies and Jr. ladies short, please ~~ (only if that's ok for you, if I am asking too much, please ignore me.)
Keiji tanaka, Dabin choi, Eun Soo Lim, Yuna shiraiwa, Kaori Sakamoto, Nicole Chan (HKG-advanced novice girls), Maisy Ma, Yuto Kishina, Ho Yu Leung.
