Interesting that they recommend watching on Japanese TV but give no information. They also forgot to mention several Team North America skaters (including Adam) as well as anyone on the competing teams.
That should mean there will be videos.

I have caved.
I bought the add-on IceNetwork stream.
This whole "resist authority" thing was outweighed by my desire to be driven mad with nervousness by Gracie Gold and Elena Radionova for the ninth time this season.
Hehe.
Oh jeez, I know I will cave too. I can't be home on a Friday night and not be watching this live. And red carpet? They are doing this to suck us in!

I suspect IceNetwork will be the only live-stream option available for the competition. Can't imagine any TV channels outside of North America will air this event live overnight or in the early morning hours for Europe/Asia, especially given the type of event this is.
Without paying IN, the only other live option would probably be a bootleg IN stream (I've seen a few pop up this season).

Is it me, or is it weird to see this logo plastered in the ice? As if TCC were primarily a promotion of Spokane, and only secondarily were a skating comp?

And ... I need to fall on my sword about something else.
At the time of Nippon TV's arena visit in Feb, one of the photos on social media seemed to show only a big green Team Asia bench close to ice level, whereas the orange and red benches for the other teams were higher up and further back from the ice. I see from the current video that the placement of the benches is equal for all teams. No favoritism for Team Asia.

Are they still using that slogan? I remember my dad saying that when he arrived in Spokane from North Dakota as a little boy in 1920, they stayed in "the best hotel between Seattle and St. Paul!" :yes:

At Krem 2 at 5, they interviewed Delilah Sappenfield, Luca Lanote and Anna....DS waiting on red carpet with reporter at casino for parade of skaters....at Krem at 6, skaters visit local children's hosptial today...I will post links to stories later or you can go to Krem.com and look for links.
