Same here. But unfortunately, she never was a top skater. She got some medals, but not from top-events. Her scores always were around 155-165 points. But she has some charisma and good skating skills. So I always like to watch her skating. :)
Actually, championships of younger and older ages are top events for a 11-13yo novices. She also managed to win stage of Russian Cup in juniors and Volkov's Memorial. I agree her scored were not that impressive though.
Anyway, all went downhill after 14/15 season.

Tuk should really hang up the skates. She peaked two years ago and will never regain that form. So much for her having the best jumps in terms of technique. What technique? Hopefully she'll spare us of becoming a Leonova. No GP assignments this year I hope.

Entries. Including pairs and ice dancers.

As expected no Fedichkina. Also no Kurakova or Shcherbakova but Russian Fed has plenty of time to add extra skaters if they want to.

Kudryavtseva/Simenenko should have a good chance to win even though Pavlyuchenko/Khodykin will be here also.

Saint Petersburg Cup Final videos. Now the videos start at the right mark but sometimes when I have rewatched videos that I have linked like these ones I have noticed that they no loger start at the right mark. I don't know why that sometimes happens, maybe the original video were edited a bit or something. Anyway that is something that might happen here too.

Congratulations to Alisa, Sonya and Alina Gorina with gold, silver and bronze medals. I have to admit, that was a really good event, even girls with only 3-2 combos skated very good. :) Next competition - Final Fantasy VIII in Saransk. With Angel Nastya, Alina, Polina and Alisa

I know it's late but a big congrats to Nastya Tarakanova for winning baby nationals!!! She beat a clean Scherbakova and Trusova(with a minor mistake) I'm sure that means something! Funny fact is that if she skates two clean programs, Scherbakova and Trusova often lose to her. I'm hoping that she'll get two spot for next season's JGP.
And also a big congrats to Kamila Valieva for winning the younger age category, she is super adorable I can totally see why she is a forum favourite

Nastya Tarakanova indeed has very good skating skills. But she has the same issue as Nastya Gubanova - problems with Lutz jump. :( If they both will fix it - they will be unstoppable. :)

For post like yours I would love a dislike button.
Her jumps, when landed, are pristine clean. She has the best jump technique because the does not pre-rotate, under-rotate or any kind of edge calls. She is also one of the very few ladies who landed the 3A in competition and the first one (and the only one) to land four triples in a SP just two years ago. Jump technique is something different than jump consistency. I don't think anyone would argue that Tuk's jump technique is better than Medvedeva's. Once again, technique and consistency are 2 different things. Tuk might face some confidence / form/ injury issues at the present, but who are you (or anyone for that matter) to decide when it's time to call it quits? Also, shall I remind you that she won a medal this season on a GP? ...

Thank you for the link, atsumiri, it's just what I was looking for! :)
What about Polina, considering how she skated at JWC, I guess this is the right decision to WD. Maybe she got some injury or something. So now she can calm prepare to the next season without forcing preparation.

I agree. This is the right decision.
as much as I love her skating I would prefer to see her healthy and in the best shape for next season

Polina was replaced by Panenkova which was a right and totally expected move.

Ladies event will be the main event for most of us but there are other interesting disciplines as well. Boikova/Kozlovskii, Kvartalova/Sviatchenko and Pavlyuchenko/Khodykin will be at the pairs' event which make it very high quality event. Polishchuk/Vakhnov and Ushakova/Nekrasov will be here also.

Live stream seems unlikely but hopefully there will be videos at least.
