Spectacular summer ice shows under the stars will dazzle with new spin
SUN VALLEY, Idaho – Reigning Olympic Gold Medalist, Evan Lysacek, will join an all-star line-up for the 2013 season of Sun Valley On Ice – Sun Valley Resort’s summer ice shows series featuring world-class figure skaters and Olympic and World champions. The outdoor ice rink will showcase prestigious skaters, new stars and new athletic routines all under the stars beginning on Thursday, July 4, and ending Labor Day weekend.
Lysacek, the 2010 Vancouver, BC, Olympic champion and the most decorated U.S. male skater of the past decade, will present a new Sun Valley On Ice production Saturday, July 20. Lysacek plans to compete at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia where he will attempt to become the first man to win back-to-back Olympic figure skating titles in more than half a century.

Core skaters for the 2013 Sun Valley On Ice feature Craig Heath, Ashley Clark, Darlin Baker, Jozef Sabovcik, Kim Navarro and Brent Bommentre, Fiona Zaldua and Dmitry Sukhanov, and Natalia Zaitseva and Jeremy Barrett.
All shows start at dusk. Seating is reserved and advanced reservations are recommended. Ticket options include al fresco dining at the Sun Valley Lodge Terrace buffet or viewing the action from the outdoor seating adjoining the ice. Tickets are available at sunvalley.ticketfly.com and at the Sun Valley Recreation Office – 208-622-2135 or 888-622-2108 – or at the gate prior to the show.
