Mishel MOSHAIEV / Dmytro KRAVCHENKO competed in Juniors at Nationals last season. But, I don't know if they are still competing this season. The Cup Of Israel rounds that have been held so far this season have only had Singles competitions. As for Nationals, I think they are having the Cup Of Israel Final double up as Nationals this season. And it isn't until April.

Aha! So I was right that, after Nationals were not held in December as usual for obvious reasons, they are now having the Cup Of Israel Final double up as Nationals.

Although, I had it in my head that it was later in April. Oops!

They are not having separate competitions. The Cup Of Israel Final is just being done on paper by taking the scores for the skaters that qualified for the Final, and listing them separately. For example, take my kids:

• Liza Gervits' score of 53.36 in the Senior Ladies SP currently has her in 2nd in Nationals, but 1st in the Cup Of Israel Final.
• Katya Gervits' score of 46.33 in the Junior Ladies SP currently has her in 4th in Nationals, but 1st in the Cup Of Israel Final.

Given that I have missed today's action, I now have a dilemma over whether to start watching tomorrow's action live. I had been planning to watch the Black Sea Cup in Bulgaria this week, but we still don't know if it is being streamed or not.

Plus, I can't find any schedules for this. All I know is that tomorrow's stream is scheduled to start at 10:00 EEST (07:00 GMT / 08:00 BST).

While we're waiting for the stream to spring into life, I have decided that, despite not seeing yesterday's action yet, I am going to watch today's action from Holon LIVE. The reason being that there are no Time Schedules, so me doing the reminder posts will provide us with a running order for future reference.

After enjoying the music for the first two skaters, we then get that female version of "Tango De Roxanne" where the singer growls at us!

Despite this, she is the new leader.

I absolutely loved the song that Skater #1 used. But I have no idea what it was. Or even what language it was in.

She went into the lead at the time (obviously), but is now in 2nd position.

I thought the song for Skater #2 sounded very 80's, and would have made an interesting Short Dance programme. And then I looked up some of the lyrics, and discovered that it wasn't from the 80's at all. It was Norway's entry at last year's Eurovision!

Which reminded me that I haven't got round to watching last year's Eurovision yet!

Anyway, she went into what was then 2nd out of 2, and is still in last position.

OK. The music that Skater #4 was using confused me.

I thought the music in the first half was an instrumental version of "Once Upon A December" from "Anastasia". But the more it went on, the less sure I was that it was that song at all. And then there was a witch's cackle, and it changed to a very strange cover of Blondie's "One Way Or Another".

She goes into 3rd position.

I recognise the voice that Skater #6 was skating to, but I can't place who it was. I don't know the song, and searching for lyrics isn't working.

She goes into 6th and last position.

I was looking forward to the next two skaters, as I have been wondering for ages if they were sisters. But, the steam started playing up just after the first one started.

It came back just as the second one was being introduced.

Hang on, this is the same girl with the same music. Were there technical difficulties at the rink rather than on the stream? And I got confused because the girls have such similar names.

Whatever happened, it was worth the wait. I loved everything about that programme from Shaked (Skater #7).

Now it is the turn of Shahaf (Skater #8). And there are technical difficulties again.

Seeing them skating back-to-back, and seeing them sitting together briefly, there is now no doubt in my mind that they are sisters. Maybe even twins.

But such a contrast in their programmes. Yet I loved both of them.

And I think the livescoring has got confused too. Because it has them both in 3rd with totally identical scores right across the row.

It fixed itself before the next skater. Shahaf (Skater #8) is leading, and Shaked (Skater #7) is in 4th.

I just wound back during the resurfacing, and no wonder I was getting confused over which Pinchas was which. The graphics showed Shahaf's name for both of them.

By the way, the final skater did a Michael Jackson programme, to "Beat It". And all but one of the other skaters did, because she went into 8th position. But I liked it.

My goodness, I just looked and I see what you mean! Anna Kantor (ISR) is the only official that isn't representing Russia!

Lakernik normally judges at the Cyprus Championships every season, and they are usually held around this time of year. I'm not sure when they are this season (the CSF website hasn't been updated since before last year's Nationals! ), but if they are soon, I bet you he makes a Mediterranean holiday out of it!

Have to say, we aren't getting as many "La La Land" programmes as we used to. So, I am appreciating them more now. But, then again, I always liked them!

We move from a combined competition for the Intermediate Novices to a combined competition for the Advanced Novices. This time it is 1 boy followed by 9 girls. They are arranged into a group containing 1 boy and 4 girls; followed by a group of 5 girls.

It's nice they broadcast on Youtube, I couldn't be more pleased seeing my country mates and I hope our federation grows and grows, hopefully to produce athletes as great as we do with rythmic gymnastics and martial arts

It only started about 10 minutes late. But there were a lot of delays when Shaked and Shahaf Pinchas were skating back-to-back. The computers, and the announcer, were getting seriously confused as to which skater was which.

And as a result, so was I! The number of times I had to change the names in my posts about them...

I know they were given names where there are only 3 letters in difference, but this shouldn't happen in this day and age!

Don't know who this is singing "Quizás, Quizás, Quizás" (the original Spanish version of "Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps") that skater #5, Alma SHAHAK (ICD), is skating to. But, it was beautiful!

I wonder if it is the same cover that Alina PETRENKO (EST) was skating to when I commented about "Quizás, Quizás, Quizás" during the Icebeat Winter Trophy at the start of Frebruary.

EDIT: Found a video. Despite the echos in the arena, it does sound like the same singer.​

She goes into 3rd in the FS, and 2nd overall.

I am intrigued by that programme from Nikol KUPERMAN (BSH).

It started off sounding like an instrumental version of "Words" by the Bee Gees, but I soon realised that after a couple of lines, the words didn't fit. And then it went all disco.

And such an interesting costume. I have never seen tights like that before.

And to top it all, she skated well!

New leader in both FS and overall.

Honestly, not my taste at all, but I love inovations and give credit when I see something I've never seen before. Good for the coach and/or designer to think of something like that
