Yes!!! 2 perfect songs for him! They are a description of his life. I have to say, in my mind I was already picturing him "hamming" it up to faster songs like All Shook Up, Hound Dog, etc. LOL I could just picture him selling those songs with his fun personality. Javi said that they will use two songs written by Elvis: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Songs_written_by_Elvis_Presley (Some quite famous ones here, but a very short list, so could also be songs made famous by Elvis? At that time it was more common to use professional songwriters than it is today.)

Thanks for the info! Makes me wonder, though, whether Danny Boy by Elvis will be included in the program?! It's less than a month to Japan Open... I remember last year it was possible to watch it live from a very poor-quality stream

Yeah, well Japan is the country that in general is more drawn to figure skating than any other, let alone Spain. I guess it's only natural that their star skater would get tons of media attention when he decided release information on his programs. It's usually that way, we know about Javi's programs earlier, but we get more information on Yuzuru's programs later.
But don't worry, eppen, JO will come soon and we'll know about that Elvis FS! Last year we didn't know anything about the SP until COC other than the music
And I didn't know he also had a cat back in Spain! They are both so cute!

What do you mean? Javi already told people his musics from the early summer. And it is not anyone's fault that Japanese media does not focus on Javi.

Last year there were lots of tidbits out of the music and even of the choreos for both programs by this time. Completely not depending on media attention. Now, NOTHING!
No offence meant towards Hanyu or the attention he receives, it was just a statement on the actually amusingly reversed situation - his stuff was kept very carefully under wraps and now it's out - we actually know a lot less of what Javi will be doing apart from the some parts of the musical choices (like "three Elvis songs" is a huge amount of possibilities!)
Also, knowing what the music choice is says relatively little of what the actual programs will be like, but seeing bits of it is a completely different matter. At least to me: I decided to go to the Europeans like two seconds after I saw the vid of the end of Malaguena because I realised whatever the rest of it will be, I want to see at least that bit live.
I love the cats, but I'd rather have something of the program/s, just a little bit, something, anything, pretty please... Two weeks is such a long time
