His layout according to Twitter
4T、4S+3T、3A+2T/4s?、2A、3Lz、3F+1Lo+3S、3Lo(so)

They say the program is soooo cool! Awesome! Choreography is matured!

Just woke up in time to be "present" while he skated  The protocols are up: http://www.jsfresults.com/InterNational/2016-2017/jo/data0105.pdf

Looks like a quite good performance with good GOEs in the first part with some problems in the second jump sequence - the 4S not very good and 2A instead of 3A, something with the loop as well. Oh yeah, and the last spin looks like a not very great success either?

The layout overall is similar to last year's considering jumps, but otherwise some changes in how the elements were distributed. The two mishaps lower the BV, but even with those corrected it would be lower than Shoma's... I hope Javi's chosen strategy of status quo will not backfire.

One tweet on the music choices, maybe Elvis singing Fever?

Can't wait to see it!

Another add, an interview in Spanish. http://as.com/m/masdeporte/2016/09/30/polideportivo/1475248530_644512.html (not much new)

WOW, Javier did really great considering it is very early season.... I would feel worried if he had been totally clean in this point. Looking forward to the clips....

Yah, it seems he landed all the big jumps, and liked his free skate outfit very much, except the belt, black pant, very tight, black & white shirt, short-sleeve:biggrin:

Watching the stream - http://mov3.co/en/tvtokyo/ - which works fine this year.

Saw the costume in snippets of warm-up: black pants and black short-sleeved shirt with white front, in the promised 50s/60s style, short hair with a little curl in the front, some facial hair.

Songs are Trouble, Fever and Jailhouse Rock. Not the smoothest cuts and no clear red thread in the program, which I don't like so much... But overall OK - seemed very tired at the end! New entries to everything but the quads! I can live with this ;)

Finally, Elvis has arrived! Thought it looked pretty good for a first outing. Javi's charisma and charm will only grow and grow as he becomes more accustomed to the program. Last spin looked a little wonky, but that'll improve. Bravo, Javi!

i agree with you, dont like the music cut when its in the middle of an element (esp spins) but program is really fun and lovely transitions, esp love eagles into 2nd 3A(which he doubled), 3F and ina bauer (and his face!) into 3Lo, well done Javi!

Thanks so much for the clip! Finally we saw the Elvis program, LOL. I think that at Worlds it will be an amazing program, one can already see that. The first song was unknown to me and I have not heard the Elvis version of "Fever" earlier. "Fever" is a great sensual song, which I love very much... "Jailhouse Rock" is a good ending, people will clap their hands. As far as I understand this program is not about portraying Elvis, but interpreting his music and as such it is awesome and has variation of tempo as in a good program should be.

I had the chance to watch the FS a few hours ago. I'm sorry, but I have to say that the shirt is not convincing me (at least not yet...it reminds me too much of bowling  ). The FS has some very entertaining parts, though :) It's not Guys and Dolls yet, but it's only the first "competition", and I really want to see that program grow

I don't think. He has taken out transitions from the previous program. This new has less transitions actually.

I'd be curious to know a bit more - can you point out where there is less stuff being done?

I mean, the approaches to the quads are the same as always, absolutely no changes in those, and the approach to the 3A combo is similarish to last year. The first four jumps from familiar approaches, then. No changes there really. From the first couple of viewings, it seems to me that the amount of plain skating, crossovers etc. has not increased in any way, the steps and other non-listed elements are different from previous years.

The approch to the second 3A is developed from what he did in Black Betty (Besti squats to both directions replaced with spreadeagles), but not done before. 3Lz was jumped last year from a long diagonal line approach with steps, not the lunge and short steps in a straight line like now. The 3F combo is in a new place plus the choreo bit with edges preceeding has not been seen before - it was previously done to either end of the rink with a diagonal or straight line steps. 3Lo he has been doing after spreadeagles for years, but now the bauer is a novelty (and will be fab when it will start working cleanly!).

But there is really no one else who can skate to a rhythm quite like Javi <3
