But the title of the thread clearly says it contains results. If someone doesn't want to be spoiled, they should know not to open the thread.

I'm actually encouraged by the Dance Results. I loved the Canadians in the SD, and the Americans in the FD.

The scoring actually reflected two things:

1. The judges aren't afraid to reward these two teams if they skate well.

2. The judges won't hesitate to punish them if they make mistakes.

As it should be.

One would assume that, barring catastrophe, the top two Olympic spots in US and Canada are locked in. It will be interesting to see if either of these two teams can grab the third spots. I hope H/D do. I think I prefer them to the Shibs.

Who coaches the Canadians?

Thank you! Now that you've told me, I can see some similarities.

Both of the FD's were understated. I thought that would be a trend, since the SD is so upbeat/boisterous this year, but maybe it's based more on coach/choreographer.
