shame about that freak (and hilarious ) fall, but he portrays that music so well, i love it! (in case you didnt know already haha), funnily he had freak fall during show version as well  looking at protocols, apart from fall spins let him down too, but the way he performed after his surgery is amazing

Awww, congrats to him and the rest of the family.

I need to buy a lottery ticket because when I saw Oda's thread had new comments my first thought was " I wonder if they are pregnant again, lol." Why can't I ever have feelings about lottery numbers?

Congratulations to Nobunari and his wife!

And a huge thank you to Mikaboo for posting links to Nobunari's last performances! I especially enjoyed Liebenstraume and Top Hat. Every small movement was choreographed to music. Such different programs, and he was perfect in both. That's pro skating at its best, when skaters take the opportunity to create programs without requirements not specifically to make them easier, but to use the extra time to truly express the music, to choreograph exactly to the music, guided by inspiration only.

Wow! Huge, light as a feather jumps! He's pretty amazing! He has to be at least 12, right?! :luv17: So glad he skated on this team!

Wow, Odadaddy!!! Loved it. I'm so impressed he kept his jumps after all these years. He really could come back and win some medals. But obviously that ship has sailed. Still thrilled for him.

Not sure if it was posted, for non-Japanese-speaking fans like me, there's a tumblr translating Nobu's blog: http://nobublogtranslations.tumblr.com/ He's so cute with his children :luv17: I'm sure he spoils them a lot

My goodness - never would have thought Oda is such a "foodie". I was getting hungry just looking at his blog. Too many pancakes might interfere with his "light as a feather" jumps! Thx for posting this link.

NOBUUUUU! He was the winner tonight! Better flow throughout , better footwork , better presentation , better musicality , and most of all, featherly landings on every single jumps . Nobu is a better skater and MUCH better performer than he used to be, no doubt, at least for me tonight. Please, skating god, please let him COMEBACK, please.
