Expect to see her at Summer Olympics ladies basketball!

The dubstep dance was GREAT! Rohene could do stuff like that....I wonder whether Jason will do dubstep? This sort of stuff would really suit him.

I just had a dream that Pavel Datsyuk was traded to another team. It was so convincing that I actually had to do a quick search on the internet to confirm it wasn't true.

Even before you take into consideration how young they are, that was brilliant!!!

However, I don't want this to sound harsh, but I think it would have been better to keep the song to an instrumental. I'm not saying the vocal's weren't good. Just that they weren't as good as the playing.

Daniela is a great guitarist, and a good singer as well. She even got the attitude spot on! But when the other girls joined in on the vocals, they did sound like little girls singing along to rock music.

But, this will improve as they get older and more experienced.

And when they do, I can easily see these girls becoming my favourite band! :agree:

An amazing tale of a girl who broke her back and is fighting back and learning to walk!!

Thanks to following Polina Edmunds on Instagram I learned about this amazing girl who is fighting back to regain movement from her waist down. I wanted to take this opportunity to share her story with anyone interested.

She was injured last March in a skiing accident but seems determined to get back to her former self. Max Aaron and Polina seem to know and support her as evidenced by the following posts.

Some background:

Max and Polina met Georgie -- who is a skater -- in April, soon after her accident. Georgie was honored at one of the Colorado ice shows where Max and Polina were the headliners. (Discussed in Max's fan thread at the time.)

Article re Georgie from April from the USFS Fan Zone site:

And in April, Max and Polina both had said how much Georgie inspired them.

I had noticed that Polina had posted the more recent photo of herself with Georgie, and was very happy to see that they were together again. [I hope that Max will have a chance to see Georgie again as well.]

This changes everything for me. Solar powered battery charger! Holy crap...it's genius and all the time I spend outside its just a life saver. I try to stay off of my phone when enjoying the outdoors but phones can be extremely useful on a camping trip and now I can also charge my GoPros and other camera's. Can you tell I'm pumped about this discovery!!!

It is pretty crazy and a bit of a game changer. Like you said, we are used to thinking of power as a finite and needing to be conserved till you find a plug... but not now.

Someone seriously needs to do a spoof of Gilligan's Island where someone has one of these.

I was given a similar device in a Christmas gift box from Domino's. It's basically like a little pouch with speakers on them, but it is solar-powered. Inside the pouch (which zips open), you can hook up an MP3 player or phone to play through the speakers, and/or use it to charge the device.

I rarely use it, because the speakers sound like crap (better than a phone's speaker though) -- but the solar-powered feature does seem to work.
