Unlike the singles competitions, this should be really a high-level one!

So embarrassing that announcer doesn't realise the mic is on... :bang:

And he's probably now announcing to himself with the mic off :bang:

what happened with N/K music? Did it really stop? Anyway, mistake in the twizzles and some rough transitions here and there, even if a couple of moves were really interesting

I think you are right about the mic. He hasn't said a word since.

I thought that Rus team was underscored a bit. I can't imagine the remaining teams being much better.

I miss not having to check the PBs and ages :( I wish somebody commented on that, maybe they'd see it and notice the problem? I would if I could ;)

Yeah I thought they would go over 50 for sure.

The Danish couple is really behind everyone else :( I actually quite enjoyed their program...

Me too! They looked like they were having fun :)

I also really enjoyed the Estonians, from costumes to performance. Surprised they're behind the French?

Tuned in just in time for the Canadians. Enjoyed both teams. Gosh it is good to watch dance again!

I too liked the Estonians (Marina Elias / Denis Koreline -- I must try to learn their names).
Loved the color scheme of their costumes. (He didn't need so much bling on the front, but the mauve looked great.)

Was it my imagination or did Tkachenka and Gulitski spend a lot of time skating far apart? I mean way far apart. I liked the Estonian couple's costumes too. I'm usually a "less is more" type of gal, but their costumes managed to be super-sparkly without being tacky. Kudos to their designer.

I noticed that too. But I liked them anyway!

Impressed by Day/Leahy!

That Shakira medley, what were they thinking.

They were thinking  SALSA/REGGAETON

I've been wanting someone to be using "Hips Don't Lie" by Shakira and Wyclef Jean for salsa for a while.

Emily really got into the rhythm too :)

Really good for a team from the US ice dance hinterlands of Southern California, IMO.
