Guess who's the referee for Ice Dance? None other than Mrs. Piseev----Alla SHEKHOVTSEVA
Fortunately the TC is Hal MARRON (USA) and the TSS are Rock LEMAY (CAN) and Fabrizio PEDRAZZINI (ITA)

But the Referee can influence the judges and we don't know who they are yet.

How are you thinking this is going to play out?

And that is what I so dislike about ice dance - it is so predictable.

The judging still will probably be pro-canadian :) Since it's SC and all. That's why I've choosen G/P as my second place pick in our GP Predictions game

Oh? At Skate Canada's Autumn Classic, the event was won by Papadakis & Cizeron of FRANCE, not from Russia, Canada or the US. However, the bigger surprise was that the bronze medal was won by Fournier-Beaudry & Sorensen DENMARK. Second place went to Gilles & Poirier.

 Hmmm.. Interesting fact. I need to see the dances to comment on that. I'll edit my post later. Maybe :)

Anyway, good luck to G/P, Z/G and M/K. Places from 4th to 6th are really unpredictable.

I'm rooting for these 3 couples.

So the SD is starting in about 2 and half hour, right?

p.s. the competition has not even started yet and people are complaining about the judges. :rolleye:

The SD starts at 1:45 AM on Saturday (I wouldn't really call it morning, more the middle of the night) in European time. Also keep in mind that in Europe Daylight Saving Time ended last weekend and for the Americans it ends this weekend.

Oh I'm so confused.
Thanks a lot. :)

Eurosport starts tonight, live, 21:10 European time. They will show all events live, except for FD and SD will not be shown at all. :frown:
So, I don't want to miss the streaming.

There can be only one CAN judge, eh?

I would expect WEAVER / POJE to win, but after that, anything can happen. Some recent scores:

165.32 65.59 99.73 WEAVER / POJE, Nebelhorn
162.81 67.50 95.31 MONKO / KHALIAVIN, Ice Star
147.10 58.67 88.43 ZHIGANSHINA / GAZSI, Nebelhorn
142.52 53.42 89.10 GILLES / POIRIER, SC AUTUMN CLASSIC
141.70 54.08 87.62 ALDRIDGE / EATON, US INTL CLASSIC
137.30 52.11 85.19 PARADIS / OUELLETTE, SKATE AMERICA
129.36 54.12 75.24 HURTADO / DIAZ, SC AUTUMN CLASSIC

HUBBELL / DONOHUE did not do any fall competitions, so do not have a recent score for them.
Their scores from last season (when she was injured):

158.25 61.05 97.20 4CC 2014
153.20 60.92 92.28 SC 2013
152.98 60.71 92.27 SA 2013
147.11 56.53 90.58 NEBELHORN 2013

Bear in mind dance scoring has changed since then....

I really loved Paradis / Oullette FD at Skate America. SD is OK too! I like her hot pink skirt. :)
