For those in the USA with Direct TV universal sports is being shown free through Friday which will include the men's and women's SP on Friday at 8 EST. They are also showing relays of NHK during this week at various times.

Yes, but one has to pay. I did it with a credit card - do not think it's a big risk. The cost is about $2 for 5 livestreams/ 20 non-live streams or $4 for 20 livestreams/100 non-live

Damn it, British Eurosport not showing ladies free live and only 45min of it!!! And also pairs, dance & gala. So much for telling us 'you willl be watching the GPF exclusively on Eurosport'! I've emailed them complaining - so disappointed

Unfortunately, they offer for free only standard resolution. And in some cases the quality of hd live streaming was poor - too much buffering. So many times I had to watch it in standard. The good thing with the sportbox is that once the stream is not live it goes quite nicely in hd. And for 4 bucks you can rewatch whatever events you like as many times as you like (they do not count toward the limit repeated stream views).

Incidentally, for those that are waiting for my Eurosport schedule post, I was away to Belfast for the day. But, rest assured that I will be posting it tomorrow morning.

To be honest, I wasn't expecting the coverage to be great. Not only is there a snooker PTC, but every imaginable form of ski-sport has a round this weekend. So, by the sounds of things, figure skating is getting pushed down the pecking order as usual.

Oh well, at least the Russians are showing everything LIVE. (It's at times like these that I wish I understood Russian...!)

British Eurosport's schedule is a disaster, with competitions showing at the same time on different eurosport channels. Plus they're showing several highights from the NHK Trophy when they could be showing full live transmission from Barcelona.

indeed.. I was sure there will be everything live on BESP from GPF and looking at shedule......

Mmmm. A very mixed bag for the GP Final this weekend.

Firstly, I have no idea what the Dutch version of Eurosport are up to! By the looks of things, they are only showing the Short Programmes! According to the schedule on the Eurosport website, they are not showing the Free Skates at all! (Well, apart from in the highlights programmes being shown during the following week)

Even though British Eurosport normally shows more coverage of the Snooker PTC’s than the other versions of Eurosport, the coverage of the GP Final is pretty much the same across the main versions.

The only real difference is that ESP Germany is showing all of the Short Dance, whereas ESP France and British ESP are joining it 15 minutes late. Probably because Germany is showing that day’s live coverage on ESP2 while the others are showing it on ESP1.

So, all in all, not as much coverage as we would have liked for the climax of the GP Series. :disapp:

Oh well, at least we have the ISU Livestream this season to fall back on…

Sorry - didn't realise that the schedule on BES TV is not the same as the schedule on Eurosport Player (which I have to watch). According to the Eurosport Player schedule, the short dance is showing on BES 19.00-19.45 on Friday, while on BES2 they're also showing the Pairs short from 19.15-20.15. Both are marked as LIVE so how's that possible? Same thing with Mens short and Ladies short - both "LIVE" on different channels at the same time. As for the Ladies, Pairs & Dance Free I have to wait for highlights only. As soon as Worlds is finished I'll be cancelling my subscription!!

I hope CBC transmits either online or on TV...as we have no ISU stream...Why???
