fine, I'll give Party Rock a pass since it's a bit nostalgic for me as well

but no Gangnam Style! it's been so overplayed for me for the last two years

now I'm watching you, 4CC organizers

Oh i'm done with LMFAO. It was just nostalgia.
Yeah Gangnam style is like K-pop on drugs...no joke
In sating that k-pop is so overt produced it feels like 'plastic' to me...fake

Getting back on topic, this crowd was awesome!!!
This proves that there is still great hope for the future of skating. Overall, i really truly believe that people are noticing figure skating a little bit more now that five or six years ago. Baby steps...but we're heading somewhere now!

Mine was "I Gotta Feeling" in 2010. :slink:

Spanish crown is always great, they are great in RG too.

Rhythmic gymnastics? If so, I agree with you.

Very respectful of all athletes, but they have no hesitation to boo the judges for low balling.

Good points:
• Good volunteers who were smiling, in good moods, knowledgeable and happy.
• Plenty of empty space in the foyer for people to stand/meet their friends etc
• Never seemed to be any big queues to get in or out of the venue..
• Warm ups had chilled out, more quiet music.
• Excellent venue placement – Loads of accommodation nearby and diagonal mar just opposite with good facilities.
• It was nice of them to do a program with details of the skaters – easy when you only have six per discipline I suppose!
• Good surprise to find little pots of fruit and salad at the food stands. So much nicer than “xyz with chips”. Coffee looked good too.

Bad points:
• Noisy steel stairs to the seats – this wouldn't be a problem if people were in their seats before the skaters’ music started....
• The constant commentary did get tedious after a while

I don’t really have many bad points! I think they did a really god job, the organisers should be proud....

Hard to believe that exactly one week ago ladies short ended at the first night. The whole event was magic. And let's don't forget the weather during daytime. Only sunshine and around 20 degrees. Lovely to do sightseeing in a city that was already prepared for Christmas and then in the evening back to the CCIB for hours of very good and exciting iceskating. Perfect crowd from all over the world. Good catering and hosts/hostesses all over the place. The athletes entrance was at the long side of the venue only a stonethrow from their Princess Hotel and an ideal place to get a glimpse or make photo together with them. All in all an unforgetable experience. Euros in Stockholm is next.:cheer2:
