So, the medal ceremonies start in around 5 minutes from now, then.

Hope somebody can find a stream somewhere. (If the countdown clock can be trusted, they are NOT included in the Gala stream on Sportbox)

When the Ladies came off the podium to join the others standing at the boards, I thought it was strange when Elena stood on the other side of Zhenya and Vladimir to the rest of the Ladies podium.

I also thought it very strange that they didn't play the anthems for each podium. But, then I realised "Sure, this is the Russian Championships - everybody's the same nationality! So, there's no need to play the same anthem four times!"

I wonder what they would have done if Tiffany and Jonathan had won the Ice Dance...

Advance Australia Fair?
A Portuguesa?

Nah, simpler just having the Russian anthem!

They were looking so happy!! Elena was gorgeous with her white dress. And I was happy that Ms. Alexeeva also got a medal. It's the first time I saw the coaches of winners are awarded with a medal.

The coahces get awarded every year at Russian Nationals.I actually love this part, it's a way to show respect to the coaches as well.
And yes they were so happy!
