^^^ I didn't know the song, but I googled the lyrics and I believe this is it:

Thank you gallavich!!!

In case you're wondering why I didn't try that myself, well I did! I put the line "So don't you don't you tell me" into Google, and it came up with this song.

Bit of a difference, eh?

Wow!!! Nikki Yanofsky sounds so different to the last time I heard her!!! (Vancouver 2010 Closing Ceremony) I actually thought it was Beyoncé singing in Vanessa's video!

Really got to try to catch up with what she has been doing the past 4 years! Because, if "Necessary Evil" is anything to go by, I'm going to absolutely love her material!

By the way, since posting my last comment, I have found yet another video of Vanessa James and Maé-Bérénice Méité from the same session. And, although I think it sounds nothing like her, this time it IS Beyoncé singing! This is the first time I've heard "7/11", but I really don't like it!

Again, this video can only be viewed by Vanesssa's Facebook friends, so I'm not going to bother putting up a direct link. But, if you can view the other one, just click on "Back to Album" and the 2 videos are beside each other.

Suffice to say, they are not wise!

I posted this yesterday in the Confirmed Entries thread in the Europeans sub-forum, but realised overnight that I should have posted it here as well, just in case people missed it.

Just saw on Daria's Facebook profile - her French citizenship is now through.

Now the only obstacle in their way is to get the minimum TES. Thankfully, there's lots of Senior B's between now and Worlds.

Oh, it's just a pity Skate Helena this weekend only has Singles competitions. Otherwise, they might have got it in time for Europeans...

All the best to Daria and Andrei for their future representing France

Any theories on why Chafik is doing so poorly these days? After 2014 Worlds, I really thought this season could be a breakthrough for him. And it started out well enough, but it's just been downhill since Skate America. Coaching problems? Or something else?

I was glad that Florent gave a good effort, at least. I'm not sure if he can ever get back to what he was at his best, but at least he seems to be fighting for it.

Yeah, I can't help but wonder about Chafik as well, so I second gallavich's question.

Chafik said he was having a knee pain on Thursday. His team will decide whether Chafiki participates to compete in the free program.

Oh, no. Not good...but in a strange way I'm kind of relieved to know there is a physical reason and it wasn't just an epic meltdown. Of course, I hope it's not serious, and I hope he will err on the side of caution. Please, no more scary skates, this season has had enough of them. :hopelessness:

Chafik decided not to compete for the free program because of the injury. He is also supposed to compete Winter Universiade next week and attend a gala show two weeks later from now, but I'm not sure how he will make them. http://www.ledauphine.com/sport/2015/01/30/besseghier-c-est-plie
No more injuries, yep. I guess we will see Ponsart represent France in Worlds 2015 instead.

Thank you for the info...I saw the statement on his FB page. What a disappointing season, but I hope he won't give up.

We are very worried in France. Philippe Candeloro was participating in a new tv game "dropped" with some others athletes in Argentina. There was an helicopter crash and its concerns a french tv show. Hope he's fine. We are waiting

10 deads are confirmed : 8 french paople and 2 Argentine (the drivers). Even if it's perharps some unknown people, I think to their families. The channel supposed to broadcast this game don't say nothing, so we don't know if it's his game or not (the papers talked about discovery and after a norvegian channel). This is very confusing

edit : the production of dropped is norvegian ! :/
