Jackie Wong: "Aleksei Krasnozhon - triple axel, triple flip (step out)-triple toe (toe won't count), triple lutz (edge?) - SP SCORE 60.52"

Is anyone watching? I don't have IN.

According to Sylvia, he nailed the 3f-3t. He had been doing 3f-2t in JGP.

Protocols are here - click on the "+" sign next to the score to view them. Chase had several -GOEs and PCS was really low, but I didn't see him skate so am not sure whether it seems like a fair assessment.

I saw live-tweeting from at least half a dozen people who were very surprised that Belmontes did not score higher. (I did not see him skate, but am bummed for him.)

I thought he looked tight, but he was clean, nice ride out on his jumps and presented them well. It was really puzzling why his PCS was so low, especially in comparison to several of the men who placed ahead of him.

It was kind of shocking to see all the negative GOE he got too... but then again it wasn't the best routine out there either. To play devils advocate for those calling foul - by comparison when Kevin Shum skated after him he had better positions in his spins and far more ease and control at just about every moment in my opinion. Still I thought 10th was way too low. I probably would have had him 4th or 5th.

Poor kid. Hopefully he'll come out swinging in the long and make a comeback.

Yes, he looked devastated after his score. I thought he also should be 4th or 5th. I don't get it...

Andrew Torgashev just nailed his SP. Over 75 points. Kid is unreal.
I've been keeping an eye on this kid for a while, he is an incredibly promising youngster with good basics. Can't wait to see the video.

I saw Chase skate and could not believe his PCS score. He got better PCS scores from the ISU judges in the JGP for the exact same jumps.

5.00 4.86 5.14 5.18 5.18 JGP
4.46 4.46 4.93 5.00 5.04 Nationals
