Lots of flipflopping in the standings. Le and Taylor both moving up 4 places, Rebecca Peng moving up 5! On the other hand, I feel bad for the girls who fell a bunch of places Paige Rydberg fell 6, Sarah Feng fell 5. Don't know if I've seen Junior Ladies with this much mobility from SP to FS.

crazy how the results average out, vivian placed 7 and 5 and ended up 3rd. i guess that's the beauty of it! glad she was able to pull up, her jumps are beautiful. many if not all of these girls need a good amount of work before they move up in some area...bradie obviously has the jumps but she skates through the rest. sarah feng reminds me of karen chen! i see a lot of potential in her skating. i don't see bradie going to jr worlds but we will see. I LOVE ELENA TAYLOR'S SKATING SO MUCH she is so light and beautiful and clean and graceful and if she gets the rest of her triples then watch out! :)

Basically lots of weird placements

Le 7th and 5th (3rd overall)
Taylor 8th and 4th (4th overall)
Peng 11th and 3rd (6th overall)

Basically Le had enough of a buffer from the SP to finish ahead of Taylor and Peng.

Oh, true. I can see them sending 2 of Tyler Pierce, Amber Glenn, and Karen Chen if they all keep up their results in Seniors (currently 9th/7th/6th respectively). Hopefully some mix of whichever two skaters go will be able to get back 3 spots.

Don't forget Leah Keiser. She's in 8th right now. Hannah Miller (in 10th) and Mariah Bell (in 12th) are also eligible for Jr. Worlds as well.

Re, macy's comment: Sarah Feng is a gorgeous skater. I miss her as an Ice Dancer. (Though I LOVE the new par of Pomerenko/Cairriera). She's young though and could still get the goods to compete in singles.

I keep forgetting Leah because for some reason, I feel like she's been around forever.
