Not the best draw for W/P. Think after their win at the GPF that C/B will come out on top here just to keep things interesting for worlds. Also be interesting how close these two teams will be to the scores of the French team at Europeans.

Alex Shibutani: We definitely didn’t sit pretty after nationals. We made a bunch of changes to both programs and I think we are looking forward to see how they are received for our scores this week. It’s another step toward worlds which is of course the goal.

From the Team USA blog that has quotes since arrival in Seoul from:
Cesario, Gold, Brown, Farris, Rippon, Frazier, Scimeca, O'Shea, Chock, Hawayek, Maia Shibutani, Alex Shibutani

Yeah, the order definitely favors C/B. Not good for W/P, and not good for the Shibutanis either.

I just saw that quote from Alex. I absolutely LOVE it. Not backing down... fighting for every point.

I am loving Alex and Maia's calm confidence. I sense Weaver and Poje will be first after the short but I am banking on the Shbs for a close second and then Chock and Bates.

I don't see how W/P going second in their group suddenly spells doom here in the slightest?

I think in order to win C/B basically need W/P to screw up.

Not many Ice Dance fans in Seoul? This arena looks even more empty than the beginning of Euros in Stockholm...

I really hope they re-position that camera over the course of these events... it's really annoying to see the obstruction every time the camera pans to the far left of the rink...
