Me as well.

Well, we are on the same timeboard! :p

FYI: Men's SP starts 7:15pm (12th) for us, Ladies SP at 7pm (13th), Men's FS at 7:30pm (14th), and Ladies FS at 2:30pm (15th).

I've tried to watch as many performances in real time as possible I could during the figure skating season but always tend to fail because I get to feel fatigue and to have panda eyes. (that's not cute!) I came to think "Well, this is just a hobby, so why do I have to risk my health?" :p I still have to see Men's FS at Euros but defer to do so since people talked a lot of the general poor quality in that day's performances. I will see them all eventually until the Worlds 2015, because there are available videos to see. For 4CC I'm gonna rely on recorded videos again. I'm very grateful to those who have provided streaming, record, upload videos and collect video links. They can make me keep tracks of the current stream of figure skating. They don't get paid, but invest a lot of efforts and time, perhaps their money for doing so.

Hello everyone, is there any way to watch this outside of U.S? I am looking for some online stream, other then Ice Network! Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Universal Sports is on a TV app I have on my kindlefire, so I can get it even though it is not on my cable company's channel lineup.

It has live coverage.

Is this app exclusive to the Kindle, or will it work on the iPad also? Do you need a specific cable company account to log into this app?

No account is needed.

It is named Telecast The Mobile TV and is surely available for Android tooo, since it is part of Chromecast.. I'm not sure about Apple products. It is free.

The Sports TV app has Eurosport, but not Universal, I think.

I also use Slingbox, but that's a different story.

Doesn't appear to be anything equivalent to that for the iPad. Of course, there's the Universal Sports app, but that requires a login with a participating cable company.

Not that I'm dying to watch live skating on a mobile device, or watch Universal Sports at all, but would still be nice to have the option available. It will take a lot more than Universal Sports to pull me away from my Apple ecosystem.

If anyone has direct tv, they are offering universal sports for free from February 6-15, this should include all of the short programs and at least the pairs and dance free programs of four continents as well as reruns of Europeans.

If any friend of yours has a Slingbox on their TV, and will share their logon with you, you can watch whatever they are watching on their TV. This avoids all blackouts and cable subscriptions except what they are not subscribed to, of course. You can also change the channel on their TV, but I don't suggest using this option unless they are not home.

We watch our son's TV occasionally. In return, we pay for Netflix.

Thanks for letting me know! I never would've checked to see it was working.

I thought it started tomorrow, but apparently it starts on February 12. There is no live TV coverage...What a pity.

So I guess Universal Sports isn't doing live coverage. They only have 1 hour in their schedule for each event. Ice Network is the only option then :eek:hwell:

Overall, the coverage of the European Championships on Eurosport is looking to be very good.

Fingers crossed we get the same level of coverage for 4 Continents (no snooker tournaments) and Worlds (erm, the World Figure Skating Championships are in China this year, while the Snooker PTC Grand Finals are in Thailand, so…)

CaroLiza_fan

When I wrote that comment for the Europeans TV Schedule thread, what I had failed to take into consideration that 4 Continents was being held in Korea.

I hadn’t realised that the time difference would mean that the competitions would be being held in the wee small hours of the morning in Europe. And, hence, it would mean all-nighters for the Eurosport staff.

The result of this is that Eurosport are showing NOTHING LIVE!!!  :bang:

They are showing highlights of the day’s events on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. But, given the length of the programmes, I reckon that all we will get is the Top 3 per category.

Overall, very disappointing. :disapp:

I really hope we will get better for Worlds…

Pfft. There is one competition (or the gala) each day Thursday to Sunday that starts at about 17:00 Korean time, which is 8:00am in UK or 9:00am Central European Time. Those ones could be shown live no problem, and they've shown live skating from about 6:00am before. But on this occasion, they simply choose not to. BAH.

They are showing highlights of the day’s events on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. But, given the length of the programmes, I reckon that all we will get is the Top 3 per category.

Yes, it's not the time-shifted not-live aspect that's disappointing... it's when they only show such a small fraction of the skating...

Maybe we need to look outside the box. I wonder which tv networks are covering 4CC in Japan or Korea. Maybe will will have better luck there.
