They look a little...not really stiff, but like they're concentrating very hard on their skating and don't have much left for flair.

OK. So when I saw the names Uzurova / Ali on the entry list for the Universiade last week, I thought "Oh, her name looks familiar, but his doesn't. I wonder if she used to skate with somebody else in Russia, and switched to Kazakhstan when she teamed up with him." But, when I looked up their ISU Bio, I found that they were both Kazakh and had been together for years!
And when I actually saw them I thought "No, I haven't seen them before. I would DEFINITELY have remembered seeing her - she's absolutely gorgeous!"
It was only when I was watching the Biathlon yesterday that I realised why I recognised the name. I was thinking of Daria Uzurova, the Kazakh biathlete!
So, it's a long shot, but does anybody know if they are related. Or is Uzurov a common surname in Kazakhstan?

This and W/P's Four Seasons are may absolute favorite dance programs this year. I do like Kaitlin and Jean Luc's skating more, though
