What does the small "x" or "xx" after some of the names indicate?

There is 2 columns "PPC" and "FEE" on the documents, maybe it only indicates who have already paid the fees?

The list is updated and... Javier Raya, Sonia Lafuente and Karly Robertson have been added! Last chance to get Worlds TES...
Streubel added too
But Korpi, Saarinen, Brunner and Paniot are out

Very interesting. The Junior Ladies include participants from Liechtenstein, Moldova, and Thailand. (I had to look up MDA).

I don't remember these federations represented in skating before... last week in the Hague there was a junior lady from UAE.

I doubt there will be coverage of these skaters, but I wish I could be there to root for them.

Liechtenstein and Moldova joined the ISU only some months ago (with Kirghizstan).

Thailand is an older federation, joined the ISU in 1988 and now has some skaters with international level (Mimi Tanasorn Chindasook some years ago and now Thita Lamsam).

I am happy that new federations are joining in.

Not too surprised that UAE joined in as well, I noticed they had joined the International Hockey Federation too and they participated in World Championships too.

Here are the current members, the biggest surprise is probably Grenada.

On a different topic, I am glad Raya and Lafuente were added. Raya seems to be competing every week nowdays to get the TES. I do not think he will get them but I hope to be proven wrong.

Yes if I'm right, Granada's federation was created by the father of Oliya Clarkson to let his daughter compete internationaly. She competed 2 seasons and since 2013 I've seen nobody to skate for this country. Some other countries were excluded because of inactivity the last years (Montenegro, Portugal, Cyprus -finally readmitted), maybe it will be the case for Granada too...

I remember her and she did do quite well by avoiding bottom 10 at 2012 Junior Worlds. Too bad she decided not to continue.

I am the most surprised by Portugal not being a member, although I do not remember a Portuguese figure skater participating at Europeans or Worlds. And Chile not having a federation is surprising too, with winter resorts in there.

For Portugal, there was just an italian girl, Giovanna Almeida Leto, who represented the country at Junior Worlds in 2001. I don't know if there's still an ice rink in Lisboa or Porto... But in fact, that's for me the most surprising missing country at ISU, especially with the fast development of winter sports in Spain.

I think in the next years we'll see new members like Chile or Colombia, and probably Macedonia who send skaters to European Criterium events!

Good job, Philip Harris! :cheer: Sounds like Michal Brezina had a rough day.

Philip ahead of Michal...not by much, granted, but still. I'd bet he was shocked himself.

It would really suck if Raya can't get the TES min. for Worlds after doing a competition nearly every week (or so it seems). Fingers crossed for him.

Me too....I believe both Raya and Harris need TES min in the FS.

Yes, the only skaters that could qualify for Worlds if they reach the TES in the FS are Harris and Raya for the men, and Maxwell and Makeenka for the ladies (it's possible for the men to reach it, but very hard for the 2 ladies...)

Ladies FS is still going on, but Makeenka got it by a hair while Maxwell missed it by a hair. :(
