I will not be submitting my entries, simply because I am not aware of the large majority of these skaters.

If you exclude Uokolova, Rajicova, and other skaters we have seen are Worlds or the Olympics, I am pretty clueless. I did not get to see most of Europeans/4 CCs this year either.

If the organizer prefers a higher number of participants, etc... then I am more than willing to submit my choices though, if that is the case, please let me know.

We have often found that the people who had winning scores made their picks by flipping a mental coin. It is all in fun; give it a shot!

green blocks = combos with 3T (harder jumps for the mens)
yellow blocks = casual jump issues like edge calls or URs (ex. Evgenia getting calls on her 3Lz sometimes)
red font = apparent edge calls or URs (ex. Wakaba is constantly marked with an edge call for her 3F)
grey font = for skaters that didn't compete in ISU competitions so info is not concrete

Right. Since there are so many names I don’t know, I decided from the outset that I would only predict on those skaters that I had heard tell of before.

That worked fine for the Ladies and Men, as I had heard tell of roughly half the field. So, I had more than enough to make a decent sized prediction.

In the end, I decided to do a top 15 as usual for the Ladies. Purely because I really liked Kailani at 4 Continents, and wanted to make sure she was included!

I only made two major changes to the PB order. The first was to move Higuchi up onto the podium ahead of Karen Chen. Although I was impressed with Chen’s SP at US Nationals (I STILL have to see the Free Skates!), Higuchi impressed me no end at Japanese Nationals!

With the Men, again there were only a couple of changes I made. The first was to move Jin up onto the podium ahead of Nathan Chen. (No, despite what it looks like, I don’t have anything against people with the surname Chen! ) The other was to move Yamamoto ahead of Pitkeev. I know, it’s strange that I am demoting a Russian! But, I really like Yamamoto.

My tactic of only predicting on those I had heard tell of fell down when I came to Pairs, as I had only heard tell of 4 of them before! And whilst 3 of them were in the Top 3 spots by PB, the other was down in 9th (Gabanova / Sintsov)!!! HOWEVER, there were only 3 points covering them and the 4 couples above them, so I promoted the ones I knew up to 5th!

It was the same with Ice Dance. Although there were (just about!) enough that I knew to make a prediction, I didn’t trust them to all be at the top. So, I ordered the whole field by PB. And it turned out to be a good move, as one of the ones I hadn’t heard of ended up in 3rd!

There were quite a few Dancer couples with no International PB's, including both British couples. But, it was good to see that we have managed to acquire the services of a Russian girl!
