Well, I would assume that parents are not really allowed in the K&C in Eteri's school, but it is just a guess.

I assume so. Even Yulia Lipnitskaya’s mom wasn’t allowed to interfere with her skating. I think Elizabet’s mom just watches from the stands. But, I do miss her. Her energy was just the best!

I remember one competition where her brother was with her in K&C.. maybe CoR? Alina skated next so Eteri and Daniil were with her

I think the Danse Macabre will be a good fit for her :). Wonder if she will go for the 3A because quads are not allowed in the short?

Thanks.

Those glasses look cute on her and make her seem very young :)

I actually think she looks her age with those glasses (compared to her not wearing glasses) To me it's more the lack of make up that makes her seem young in those pictures.

Anyway, I hope she has lots of fun on holiday! And then, well rested, she can continue showing us her wonderful skating again next season.

There is slightly older interview with Elizabeth's father, and when he talks about the role of the coaching team, he said that during the previous period of her training in Sambo-70 (in 2012 and 2013), she learned a quad jump (he didn't name it - salchow or not) and triple axel https://youtu.be/hR3UYsMgHlU?t=218

Tutberidze mentioned during this press conference that they've been practicing 3A for two years already before Elizabet left and that Elizabet already could land it in training at that point.

By the way in the same interview Tutberidze also said (this was one year prior to the 2018 Olympics) that she doesn't like the idea of accepting foreign skaters, even though she is getting offers. I guess this whole Medvedeva situation has changed her mind, and Elizabet made the right move at the right time.

Another piece of trivia, on one of the Russian forums Elizabeth's mother (or at least a person identifying as such) was saying something along the lines of Orser being reluctant about developing Elizabet's quad, especially after a bad fall she had on it during practice, and that it's ultimately not going to happen. Very much not sure I can find that post anymore, let alone confirm the poster identity, so take this with a grain of salt.
