The Battle of the Blades is the one you're thinking of from Canada and that was very different, because the "celebrities" were all professional hockey players. That aspect of it made it unique and I think there would be a different level of professionalism that would come from that.

(OT but I really think Battle of the Blades could be the new DWTS of skating, if the Americans would only pick it up!)
