At Junior Nationals (Feb 2015) she was 4th (after Medvedeva, Sakhanovich, Sotskova), won Final of Russian Cup (Junior) at Feb 2015, won Spartakiad at Mar 2015 (ahead reigning World Junior Champion Medvedeva), won Nationals Elder Age at Mar 2015
and there's no even a pic from that podium

Polina and Ekaterina are in Poland

Her jumps are to die for so like her SQ. She is so elegant on ice :)
No doubt she will !!

I especially love the way she vaults into the lutz. She actually holds the outside edge all the way, then launches high into the jump with an obvious delay before she starts rotation. This is the classic lutz technique used to deal with the counter rotation on the lutz. You rarely see this nowadays. And for a junior, her basic edgework is not too bad at all. Of course no Russian female skaters ever came close to the sort of edge and skate quality of a Caro Kostner or Mao Asada when they were juniors but I would say that Tsurskaya is one of the stronger Russians when it comes to SS. She just needs to show more fluidity on multidirectional skating and edge change and she can potentially be up there with say Gracie Gold or Wakaba Higuchi.

By the way, her FS score was 2nd highest ever in Juniors and only 0.58 points short of WJR set set by Radionova (127.39). Polina can definitely break Elena's WJR of 194.29 this season.

This girl had some serious hang time.
I mean, excuse me the comparison, but her flying through the air is similar to some fittest basketball players.
She doesn't just jump high, she jumps high AND FAR.

Congrats Polina! :cheer2:

ISU bio lists her height as 168cm. She really is pretty tall for a lady skater and she is just 14. Wonder if she will go even more statuesque than Caro Kostner. That delay and hang on her jumps is simply awesome. If only she can develop the solid edges and footwork of a Kostner, she will be almost unbeatable.

the best jumper and has the most solid technique since Tuktamysheva
she should not have much problems with puberty along with Sotskova.

unlike Zhang, Lipnitskaya, Agafonova etc

I agree she is a great jumper but her Flip and Axel are not that strong.
