Wow, he has the good shoulder! He nailed it.
I'm not surprised, he's still a world-class athelete, after all! I've seen the first pitch, I'm proud of my little sunshine! But I envy all the people who got the doll, The Swan is my all-time favourite program of his!

Johnny will be a part of Nancy Kerrigan's Halloween on Ice tour:

I guess he won't do the Oct. 24/25 shows due to Skate America. None of the shows are anywhere near me, but this should make a lot of people happy since he hasn't done a US tour in years. I can't imagine what kind of costume he will have. :)

They usually show this on tv at some point, don't they?

Either it will be on TV or there will be videos of it. :) And considering it's on the theme of Halloween, I'm SURE we'll see some glorious costumes. Johnny never disappointed when it comes to many things, and this one is included lol!
It's about time he's back on tour in the US. He's doing tours every year in different countries (mainly Japan and China), but rarely in its own country. Usually it's one show here and there. Quite sad.

Wow! Big news!:yay: I’m expecting his costume as everyone else.
He’s still in good shape, keeping good physique. Technically nice. Not to mention his matured artistic expression. Seeing his performance, you can easily know how hard he is training himself even now.
I'm looking forward some photos, videos, reports!

TV Alert:

CBC will be airing the political documentary 'To Russia With Love' this Thursday 6/25, at 8pm EST.

Further details at CBC's website below:

http://www.cbc.ca/documentaries/to-russia-with-love

'To Russia With Love' is also on Netflix in the US. Definitely worth a watch.

I've uploaded the documentary on DM if anyone is interested: part 1, part 2, part 3

Now given this is also available on Netflix, I'm not sure if my uploaded files will have a higher chance with copyright/legal issues:slink:......you know, more than the usual not-so-legal-ways of our shared FS files from the TV broadcast.

Just watched this, very very good documentary. I loved the very balanced view on the LGBT situation in Russia, LGBT activism around the world and the rights&wrongs of putting pressure on athletes to speak out.
It took me a while back in the day, but I learned to fully appreciate how unmitigatedly direct and unapologetic Weir is in all of his opinions. I love this in his commentary on NBC as well, it's honest and personal, but it never comes across as bitchy.

thanks for uploading! I really like that Masquerade program and costume.

Just to clarify, I did not upload, merely post the links. That may very well be what you meant, and I don't like to nitpick, so sorry about that - but I'm even more fearful of seeming to take credit for someone else's work.:)

And oh, yes, I thought the Masquerade Waltz costume and program were great - and I'm not generally a fan of Johnny's costumes. But he looks very stylish and elegant here, I thought.:)

Very lovely program! It's the one he's supposed to present at MWO. I hope he'll podium, this time.
And the costume, wow, it's a very classical style. But it's perfectly fitting for the program, and he wears it well! :luv17: But is it me, or it looked like he was about to loose his pants? He looked like he was putting them back up twice.

It's a great program and he gave a great performance--especially considering jet-lag and the dime-sized ice surface :)

Hmm, I wouldn't be surprised if his pants were a bit big for him rn, as he looks very thin in the pic he posted from Oslo today: https://instagram.com/p/_eSnP0BhVK/ He looks great, just even skinnier than usual.

I expected 'Creep* by TLC but this is much more his style. The outfit? I think of the marvelous Carolyn Jones in the Addams Family series, a little vampire-ish.

The program and outfit were originally created for the Halloween on Ice show, in which he played the Vampire King :)

Indeed, now that you mention it, it's the same one. Ah well, it works for both, so why not? Or maybe he used this one because the'res another one for Masquerade that is not ready yet? Well, no matter, it was a great program. But Johnny, get your pants fix, sunshine, it was ok for KOI, but I don't want to see you loosing them during MWO!
