Kenji and Shoma have always been buddies. I think they will do great together, and I'll be really anxious to see the results of their collaboration.

^^^Oh my gosh, that Kenji's Room was priceless. Here is the English translation, and the two videos. I thought this was the episode where he makes Sho demonstrate his golf swing and his ability with the yo-yo, but I didn't see them. Note the chewed up lips, and he has such a bad cold, I don't know how he can even talk. The old face is so pudgy and cute! I can hardly believe these videos are almost 5 years old!

Aaaaa finally a Shoma update! And when it rains, it pours too :luv17:

I'm glad that we finally have confirmation that Shoma is in Japan :luv17: especially with how the World is right now. Meanwhile, Mr. Tree just continues adding his baristsa skills, huh, the Matcha looks amazing.

Also, I'm super curious on the EX he is planning with Kenji Miyamoto, and also very happy that Shoma has another opportunity to work with a choreographer he has never worked with before (in a personal basis, of course, Kenji has choreographed for several ice shows Shoma was a cast member of). Wishing them success in their collaboration! Kenji has worked with a variety of styles and genres of music, as well as has commented for Shoma's skating before (thanks jerrymouse for the links!) so... just super curious.

Itsuki saving us with the update again, the photos are sooo soft ;; He must be happy, being able to stay with his family and play games indoors all day :D

B/C I obviously having nothing better to do today, I asked what the little bear with goggles on was on Shoma's sweatshirt. A kind poster answered. So, here's our fashion tip of the day.

A really nice compilation of Shoma's season. I loved seeing all the smiley faces at the end of his programs. What a sunshine! :love: Personally I feel really lucky to have seen him as many times as I did :yay:

The DOMO music playing in the second part of the video is from IDF... If my friend didn't tell me I wouldn't recognize it, the crowd kept cheering so I thought it was from later in the season (and I'm not strong enough to rewatch it :sad4:) A meaningful touch to what is already wonderful compilation. Thanks Bel for sharing the link here!

Well, yesterday ISU re-aired Worlds 2018 Men's FS so the rewatch comes with a side of tears, but remembering how strong Shoma was to save the second half of Turandot by landing three combos in a row will never not be an emotional experience :sad4: listen to that crowd :sad4:

I'm happy my video helped you! :laugh: But yeah it was the same for me, I really needed something light-hearted after seeing all those Worlds 2018 FS videos... :console: I hope the Uno brothers will also provide us some more fluffy content as soon as possible! :pray:

I was there and will never forget it. He came out and fought with every bit of his strength he could muster up. He was a champ, and I was so proud of the way he held himself together, even though he was in pain and must have been hugely disappointed. The audience went berserk when he hit his three jump sequence.

What was Shoma's injury at WC? I remember his ankle injury at 2019 4CC but not what he had going on in 2018.

IIRC (and please CMIIW on this) the pair of boots Shoma's been wearing until Olympics broke before Worlds, and there weren't enough time to break the new pair of boots for Worlds and it contributed in some way to pain on his ankle/foot? I remember reading that the pain got bad enough that he was reported by Japanese media getting carried by his manager to the bus after a practice session. He also got painkiller injection for the SP, but decided not to do it again for the FS because Shoma hates injections.

Oh, too bad Sho's April 21 Colan Totte event has to be cancelled for now. Hopefully they'll be able to reschedule. An announcement about possible rescheduling will be made June 3. It's definitely the right thing to do, all things considered.
