It almost seems like it would be difficult to go back to everyday life after all that excitement. And the bonus -- getting to meet DBC members from many different countries.

I'm biased of course, but it just drowned out any other program that came before it (thankfully it's the last individual program). My God, where to even start?? Shoma's movements and skating in this are just insane to watch live. He literally pounds and grinds down with the music to just beat the ice down, bring the entire arena down. The whole arena feels like it was pounding. Grespi just makes him move in a different way compared to This Town, but it's JUST AS GOOD. Just.. the deep, pulsating beat blasting on the arena and Shoma and his skating just matching that intensity and power, feeding each other off... watching this EX live is worth the journey to Nagoya for me. The build up of the program and THAT epic beat drop to start the step sequence... It's just so amazing, there's really nothing like it. Also he did it clean! My stomach turned a bit when I saw Shoma setting up the 4T but he landed it nicely, cherry on top of this pretty amazing performance.

I'm can't wait to see it live at a competition :drama:

I still am breaking out in random smiles when I remember that Great Spirit is his short for next year! I have I think 4 versions of it in my running mix, and every time it comes up, I feel sad when it’s over! I think after 2019-20, I will just end up with GS collection.

Almost one year has passed since I joined the FF.
At first I’d like to write something about The Ice and want to know everyone that it’s very enjoyable show.

I was very happy that rabidline, OniBan, and gacchan came to see Shoma and The Ice.
I had a great time with them.
rabidline, thanks for posting your report.
I didn’t attend Saturday show, so it’s very good to read your detailed report.
And when I read about the last show, I remember everything and it makes me happier.
Only bad thing is I can’t get the song “Can't Take My Eyes Off of You” out of my head.
I hope some members from FF come to The Ice next year from overseas again.

I was very impressed with Shoma's MC skills at THE ICE and how comfortable he seemed with being the star of the show. While we are waiting for more new news, thought I would bring back this video of when he was on Kenji's Room. Oh my gosh, can this really be the same guy? He is so shy, he can hardly get the words out. Granted, he seems to have a bad cold, but he seems so nervous and painfully shy. Best moments: 12:23 he demonstrates his Yo Yo skills. 15:11 he shows us his golf skills. Wow, our little boy has grown up!

Well, before Scoopin' Jack made his "scoop" after The ICE, Shoma has already said on his website that he'll be getting choreo in mid-August, and August 11 is perfectly smack dab in the middle of August :laugh:

if this continues, Jack may have to keep scooping! Scoop scoop scoop Mr. Jack!

(PS. It was a bit weird to see Shoma in a TOYOTA Athlete event when David is "supposedly" already in Japan)
