I have seen a lot tweets that the JGP had lots of Shoma parellelisms.
Its a good way to refresh beautiful memories.

A friend on Twitter found the link of a community where they discuss the English translation and meaning of the Japanese phrases (kanji) in Shoma's DHC ad. It's fun to read, and helped me understand its wittiness more :laugh:

My favorite is probably the "This Summer, be careful with sweet words and sweet things." It sounds normal but with Shoma's photo beside it... he's definitely one sweet thing I have to be careful with! :laugh:

Heh, I think I am starting to get to the point when younger skaters start to remind me of the senior ones! But omg, the first thing I thought when I was building my playlist and seeing that the Fly Me To the Moon kid placed 3rd, was Uno vibes! Like the same working for the crowd, worry about everything else later feel, though you know it’s because everything else had been worked on for hours and hours...

And I can’t wait to see Uno again. I am having such a wonderful weekend with the skating back!

Well... Mae doesn't really need the hot body gel to get a hot body. [emoji16] She already has that! I think she'd rather have the calendar, the Colantotte necklace (that thing is expensive though!), the Uno towel, or the photos of the ad. [emoji6] She'd probably be thrilled to get a necklace from Shoma himself. [emoji1]

Speaking of the hot body gel, aside from "forming a hot body", I wonder if it's warm on the skin, like those pain reliever ointments? Just a random thought.

I'm going to put together a package of Shogoodness for her. I still have some keychains, a magazine, etc. She's definitely an honorary member of the DBC! :love:

That's my understanding: a gel that makes yr body hot (warm) and results in forming a hot body*. *needs balance diets AND exercise ;)

For fans who are going to give Mae shoma-related gifts...I recalled Yuma received a Shoma clear file lol, well there are so many skaters who are shoomed so... many possibilities of gifts apart from plushies!

Sorry, but that ointment sounds very suspicious, lol. About the only hot body it helps maintain is still gonna be Uno’s.

I saw on twitter one of the DHC adds where Shoma was doing a cantilever.
I was so pleasedly embarrased. But I love the feeling :laugh:
Shoma has this inert talent to be entertaining without trying.
It makes him so interesting.

This reminds me of Itsuki’s book.
Is there anyone interested in his childhood episodes?

When Shoma was a sixths grade elementary student, he attended Japan Junior Nats for the first time.
His family only wished him to qualify for free skating (24/30) and they think he would be borderline.
The skate center was located in Yokohama, so if he couldn’t qualify, his family and cheering party planed to go to Disney Land.
Contrary to all expectations, he could stand on the podium.:luv17:

She said Shoma was a friend when she had an magazine interview.
Alina looks Shoma’s elder brother sometimes.
