^^^Fantastic photos! I am especially intrigued by the one of the guys in their suits and wondering what the Rhapsody in Blue program was like! I hope we get to see it or at least parts of it!!! Here is Shoma's message from his official site:

Hello this is Shoma…Thank you very much for everything during FOI. This puts an end to this year’s ice shows as I pick up training for the competitive season. It was a busy off-season as it always is but very fulfilling alongside everyone…It will be a new start but I’m not worried. I will give my sincerest effort as I face things one at a time, and give it everything I have so I can go out during competitions and achieve as close to my ideal performance as possible…Thank you very much for your continued support.

I can’t wait to see him compete again. Don’t take me wrong, I love JGP, but it makes me miss Uno’s skates and all the ups and downs of being invested into a specific competitor over the season so badly...

I agree, and I've watched only a couple junior performances. I can't get over how talented some of them are and what a nice feel for the music some of them have. I still feel like they can be heart breakers though because of growth spurts and injuries. That in itself makes me not want to get emotionally invested in them. If they had a JGP event near me, I would probably go just for the fun of it. (Doubt that will ever happen though). Oh well, we can start the countdown now to Japan Open. I think it's only 32 more days! :sad4: :ghug:

I had been thinking of going to Junior Worlds if I like the life competition & depends who is sent to compete. the seats are empty, and stuff. I’d definitely go if it was close by, but not much chance of it.

Thank you jerrymouse for sharing your report, as always :luv17: I'm glad you had a great time at Friends on Ice cheering for Shoma and other amazing skaters! Also, your DBC power must have came through, Shoma landed his 4F at the show you watched!

It's very difficult isn't it to choose only 7 from 146 calendar photos! I don't envy you and the fans in Japan for having to choose. If it was me... maybe I'll buy 1 special calendar only for Shower!Shoma and 1 calendar for the rest of my favorite photos. But I wonder if it's enough :laugh:

Well, no first pitch invitation yet from Chunichi Dragons (Nagoya's baseball team) but no need for that to wear the cute uniform! Shoma and Honda-san looks like a formidable team! Miki Ando (who has a Colantotte gift from Shoma) shared some photos on her Twitter and apparently they're a whole baseball team with Yuka Sato-san and Miki:

I know FOI just ended this Sunday and he's going to be full-on preparing for the season now, but yes, same, I have been binge-watching Shoma's skates out of severe withdrawal. After watching him live (even if it's just in an ice show) I just want to watch him all the time :sad4:

Shoma's room is such a gamer's room LOL. Look at all those consoles! And the 55-inch TV! Now I get why he said he can game from morning til night (til morning again? LOL). He has such a nice setup in his room. Also, the Detective Pikachu plushies on his desk are ADORABLE.

Wow, Stephane took Shoma, Koshiro and Deniss to watch the recital of Kotaro Fukuma, a Japanese pianist who is having a recital at Casino de Montbenon, Lausanne. A pretty neat first outing! :luv17:
