Kim is currently the fifth-ranked Canadian senior lady on team Canada. The seventeen year old only really became serious about her skating in the last year and half, and has quickly moved from having only the triple Salchow to placing fifth at Canadian Nationals.

As her coach Josée Picard said of her a year ago:

We are trying very hard at this point to work on new jumps seeing as how last year was Kim’s first year to master new triples,” noted Picard. “She didn’t really have any of them before. We have now six triples planned in the program, and we are working on being able to do more throughout the year.”

I hope Canada will at least send her to a Senior B, as she finished a very respectable second place at the 2015 Québec summer championships
