Mixed skate, still seem rusty

Rusty is a good word for it. Tons of little bobbles galore, but I love the way they exit that one lift.

Grrr. The sound is a good 20-30 seconds out of sync with the video. So much for modern technology!

I like the Ukrainians alot--tons of potential and she is totally fearless, but so hard to tell when the sound is so out of sync!

Boy apparently my stream is totally on some kind of weird delay.

Strong skate from the Czechs, they seem happy. Good chance for gold (and a Final spot)

The problem with the Canadians is that he doesn't give her any lift in the throws or twist--he practically releases her horizontally. Probably a question of simple strength and should improve as he gets older and stronger. I find her very musical--she has good acting skills. He could bring more in that area.

I like the Czechs quite a bit. He has some really good extension. They're well matched. Keeping an eye on this team.

Well, ok, but at least they have a chance :) I'm very proud of them ^^

PS Bardei/Oganesian secured their spot in final, right?

Good skate by the Russians (though I swear it looks like he is wearing a tux t-shirt with puffy sleeves; her costume is cute and the bling is in surprisingly good taste). I just prefer the Czechs. Ah well, De gustibus...

Are you sure? I don't know if I should do a happy dance :drama:

There's about a 99.5% chance they'll make it... they're a 2-4 team and they beat the other 2-4 team in the tie breaker... and the teams that won last week and this week will both be skating in the next event. I think one of those teams would have to go 5th and the other 3rd or 4th(I think) to make room for the other possible contenders to overtake the Czechs. It would require 5/6 JGP Finalists to be skating in the last event for the Czechs not to make it.
