Rin tweeted that she is frustrated with not making the Junior World team but thinks that making the top 8 and achieving her (unofficial) personal best scores at Nationals is a great improvement from last season. She congratulated Wakaba, Yuna and Marin on making the Junior World team and wishes them good luck. She says she will learn a lesson from the result at Nationals and work towards her next competitions, which are Inter High School Championships and National Winter Sports Festival in January.

I hope she does well in the upcoming competitions! :hap10:

I wonder if Rin will turn senior for next season. She's the eldest among the group of JPN junior skaters. But she only starts to skate in local senior events very recently (in local 'Aichi Figure Skating Competition' and Japan Nationals).

According to a commentator on Fuji TV, Rin wants to move up to the senior level next season.

I wonder if Rin will turn senior for next season.

The way Rin skated at the recent J-Nats was of the senior's, I thought. Rin really has a mature look on ice, just like Yuka Nagai last season, so I have no doubt she can do just fine on the senior circuit next season.

For some reason, Rin reminds me of young Miki Ando in junior days; because of her leg muscle type, esp. calf part, also the way she springs into the air when jumping.

Anyway, thanks a lot for starting a fan thread of Rin Nitaya.
Let's hope Rin have a very successful competitive career, so that this thread will live long and be crowded by world skating fans all the time. :)

It`s great to see the thread for Rin being active :)
she is one of my favorite skaters.

In reference to turning to seniors, I think she will definetely turn.
She has started to pariticipate as senior since last year (the rest of last season after sr. nationals - some locals and Gardena Spring Trophy). However, she decided to skate in 2015-2016 as a junior because she wanted to make junior worlds, but.... :( anyway, hope she can have successful debut at Senior Grand Prix next season! (I guess she will get at least one GP??)

I was there! While she lacks in speed, she was so lovely to watch! For her last season in junior, she has a good start!❤️ Not sure if she'll be in the gala, but we'll see.

A big :thank: thank you to @rabidline for adding links to her Media profile!

No problem! It was a pleasure. Also, if anyone from Rin's FF would like me to add more videos to her Media profile, like interviews or features or even skates that I missed, please don't hesitate to contact me via PM and I'll help in adding them  😄
