I've only heard him use short phrases of Japanese in interviews, so I don't know if he knows more but it may be a good question to ask him in the future ;) As far as I remember he also knows at least some German. He and Stephane know quite a lot of languages between themselves ;)

It's interesting that Deniss likes the armour of Polish Winged Hussars. Maybe he should skate a knight programme (after the Samurai one) in the future. I hope he has a chance to try on some actual armour to feel like a knight ;) (maybe for a photoshoot?)

Deniss is scheduled to skate 6th tomorrow at the Nordics Open, at around 15:42 (local time).

Now this is the type of competition I'm actually looking forward to watching live because it's way less stress-inducing :p

I'd say Deniss is full of surprises :laugh:. One competition he jumps everything but 3A, another one the only jump he does is 3A...
(in fact I'm a bit worried about his ankle:()
