Alla Loboda & Pavel Drozd

Alla Andreyevna LOBODA (Russian: Алла Андреевна ЛОБОДА) and Pavel Igorevich DROZD (Russian: Павел Игоревич ДРОЗД) are Ice Dancers who represent Russia. The team split. In 2019, Alla is skating with Anton Shibnev. and Pavel is skating with Ksenia Konkina.

Alla Loboda was born on 10[SUP]th[/SUP] December 1998 in Moscow, Russia.

Pavel Drozd was born on 14[SUP]th[/SUP] December 1995 in Saint Petersburg, Russia.

They are the 2014-15 JGP Final silver medalists.

This dance team medalled at both their JGP events and are headed to the 2015-16 JGP Final.

Before forming their partnership, Alla and Pavel both competed with different partners. Pavel also competed in Singles skating.

Thank you for Fan Fest thread for my favourite junior ice dance team this season
Both of them are not only a very good skaters and dancers, but also very kind and down-to-earth persons. Alla is very sweet and funny. I wish them best at GPF and finally to qualify to Junior Worlds :dance:
Who knows, maybe they will be top junior team next season after McNamara/Carpenter go Seniors. They certainly have all the goods

Amazing result for the guys, I was SO happy for them! their Starlight waltz pattern was absolutely magical! I hope after McNamara/Carpenter, the Parsons and Popova/Vlasenko will move to Seniors next season, Alla and Pavel will dominate juniors field. They definitely have a chance, they only need decent dances!

Also Alla and Pavel both celebrated their birthdays in Barcelona

So glad that sfter last season's fiasco at Nationals they won the title this year! Yay! They also missed last season's Worlds. Now I think they have amazing chance to medal at Worlds, and maybe win next season, who knows?

Yeah, I think they will probably be fighting with the Parsons next season, if they both stay in juniors. I hope they give their best at worlds, because the judges didn't favor much the Americans in the JGPF, as opposed to what happened during the JGPs, and if they skate well they might even get a chance at a better medal than bronze.

They did skate wonderfully and have so much potential!

here is my review

That there was still a Russian medal, however, was because of two skaters who even missed, that so important final group, coming 6th in the short and yet, skating the third best FS! Alla Loboda and Pavel Drozd, had a very quiet and almost relaxing performance at the start, very calm and friendly facial expression, with an almost perfect twizzle sequence, perfectly aligned, not changing the distance to each other by much and good attack there, just a minor miss timing at their openings at the last turn, but we are really talking of almost perfection here!

Their timings and interpretation, towards the end with their midline step sequence and the rotational lift, was really well done, great choreography and nicely executed, to music by the local superstar Edvin Marton with Paganini 5, music that also Plushenko likes skating to. Together with the top two Americans, they offered great skating in hold, very close and if they are able to fix the little errors, like in the serpentine where she was caught out of balance and therefore lost the connection with her partner for a second, then they have huge potential for the future and winning the junior nationals, does not come easy, great couple and I so had to laugh, how she always wanted to step on the top of the podium, during the VC. Already practicing for the future, young lady?
