Wakaba had a pretty good comeback at her last GP with her FS, landing a 3Lz-3Lo while Marin didn't do so well on the FS so I wouldn't be so hasty

Even if Marin is 3rd she will have done enough for the GPF. She'd have 24 pts vs Wakaba's 22 if she wins. It's Fedichkina who will get kicked out.

So Canada may actually end up with a lady skating in the final group at a JGP event. Has been several years since we have seen this isn't it?

Gabby Daleman. 2013 JGP Baltic Cup. Where she got 3rd place (Had to look back on her ISU bio cause I remember reading she got 3rd at a JGP once).

Chartrand was 4th after SP in Croatia 2012, finally 6th.
Daleman was 4th after SP in Germany 2012, finally 5th.

No we were doing as well 2 seasons ago when Chartrand and Daleman were skating JGPs.

Kim Decelles has been skating very well all season. Her twin sister Emy was only OK at Skate Detroit but has been inconsistent otherwise.

The Mcleod coached Yim and Tamura don't have their flips yet as they don't' even try them in the FS. I think Yim is talented but she must get away from Mcleod to advance.

I see Kim as the favorite for the JW spot right now.

So why wasn't Kim given 2 JGP spots so she could get more experience and build on each outing? It is nice that she probably will be skating in the final group but with so little experience it really may put her off in the long.

When the camera first showed Ji Hyuns face I thought it was Yuna! :love:

They really look similar or at least their make up. Pretty girl, lovely style and very elegant.
